He does have the perfect voice for Hyoma, yes. He also has the most skill of everyone in the cast IMO....he wasn't amazing, but he does improve over time.
@@karentookthekids537 There's a scene I've never found online, it makes things even more confusing. Basically the core of the multiverse (called Egg of the World) developed a mind of its own, and it wants to have everything in existence to itself, so it steals pieces and people from other worlds to build the artificial world of Endia. This essentially means that the multiverse is slowly imploding, so Hyoma and company have to destroy the Egg's will in order to stop the absorption of all worlds. This is all, of course, very drawn out and there's also some nonsense about leaking possibilities.
'We wouldn't be, if things were usual, but this is obviously pretty far from usual!' I bet that's what most people were thinking when they heard this dub, which is obviously pretty far from usual.
@matthew1010ify I agree in a completely serious sense. This games voice acting has brought so much joy to my life. Games like Zelda: Wand of Gamelon, Resident Evil 1, Castle Shikigami II and Shining Force Neo may be insulted but at the end of the day people love them for their charm. Final Fantasy X however may be regarded as good voice acting but it still makes me want to cut off my ears with a rusty saw. Thank you Chris Janlinek for this masterpiece! Screw the haters!
"IM SO ASHAMED OF MYSELF!"
~Everyone who voice acted in this game

"What? Where Am I?"
-The voice actors (the publisher of this game's family) when they were lured into the studio to voice act.

Good gravy, how does the casting get worse and worse with each new character introduced?
I'm just gonna say it. Hyoma's voice actor is perfect.
The beginning conversation doesn't sound awful. It's not great but at least it sounds like they were sorta trying.
Emphasis on sorta though.

"I wanna go home.A new first-person shooter is coming out next week."

D...Did his voice actor suddenly switch to Microsoft Sam?
That's Microsoft Sam isn't it...
It's like there was no sound editing for the voiceovers. You can hear annoying mouth noises from some characters.
Ikr-
"Shut up!" -- The only line Hyoma's VA can say well. COINCIDENCE?!
6:33 Switching voice actor in 3...2...1...
Holy shit lmao
Hiro/Hyoma/somewhat Shizuku/Rin/Okita's vas have grown on me-
he ate the rotten fruit on the ground!
so do they just play that one BGM in very cutscene?
Why does Laru sound like an old man? He looks like a kid.
Because this game sucks beyond human comprehension?
@@gi_nattak Nah
@@gi_nattak I mean, the voice acting is trash, but overall this game is a great tactical rpg
from 1:05 to 1:15, Hyoma just turns into Owen Wilson hahaha.
I'm officially dead after hearing this again with this comparison in mind.
10:04 Nice! Weee’ve-finally got a plan?
Rin was the most well done out of this entire shit show
Does anyone understand what is going on with the story in this game?
No, I don't think so.

You mean like a biological father? Or like a sugar-daddy?
~Hayatemaru.
That's an absolute sick burn.
I wasn't expecting that one
5:57 Oh the IRONY!
Ryoma sounds so uninterested lol

Mue sounds like a little homeschool mom for some reason
These voices sound so.... bland, I can't feel any emotion =/ plus some of the voices didn't seem to fit, especially Laru's
You know maybe if they didn't add so many characters, they could compile their budget and maybe hire 4 good VAs and a script writer.
holy shit laru is gaizan
I think that same guy voices Zard as well.
Hyoma is perfection
are all the characters like voiced by the same people o.o they sound too much alike. lol like only two people did the voices.
Well the producer of the English dub used his family…
Have you ever seen Animal Soccer World? Or any game by Phoenix Games/Dingo Pictures? This is fricken Emmy material in comparison.
HA! That's like saying the shit I took today is better than the shit I took last week.
Huh, a clip where Shizuku actually tries to act?
I personally think Hiro is the best here. She seems like she's trying the most.
inb4 "why so serious"

Shelly has a mature voice actor, yet shes so childish in the japanese version....
How Creepy...
The voice acting reminds me of 12 oz. Mouse.

i think hes actually chuckling at the line 5:57
These drama club rejects make william shatner's acting look good
Rinse and Road?
The voice acting in this part aint that bad
i will give that a look :D thanks! haha
holy crap you're right

Sound Horizon
Elcors can show more emotional voice acting XD
Oh, no!
This sucks harder than my ex girlfriend eating a lollipop.
