- Vor ein paar Monaten habe ich bereits ein Video zur Amazon-Version dieses Cosplays hochgeladen. Jetzt ist das Venti Dokidoki SR Cos in Größe L an der Reihe! Ein deutliches Upgrade, wenn ihr mich fragt 👀

I know it has been a while and you might not have this cosplay anymore, and if so then I'm sorry to bother you,
but since the cosplay has been discontinued it's a bit hard to find information about it-
I'm writing because I plan on buying the exact same cosplay seccond-hand, but I am a bit worried about the sizing since L size cosplays are sometimes a bit tight for me
(the curse of being a tall cosplayer ;w;) and you did mention it being a bit smaller compared to other dokidokis
And so, I wanted to ask if you think there may be a chance to adjust it a bit (Mainly the corset and shirt) without.. well, messing it up too much?
Or is something like that not really worth considering?
Again, I apologize for just asking out of nowhere, but I don't really know where else to ask for advice-
P.S.: Girl you're slaying in that cosplay, it looks amazing!
Heyy! :3 You're absolutely not bothering me, dw! First of all, great choice, cosplaying him is so much fun :D As for the sizing, L size cosplays are often very tight for me too.. You miight have a problem with the shirt/the length of the sleeves. Doesn't have to be though! The Tights will probably be pretty much unwearable tho, they're horribly small XD 😖
And about doing adjustments: I'm still a sewing newbie, so I don't know too much. But adjusting the corset shouldn't be too hard I think, especially because the back gets covered with the "cape" anyway. :) As for the shirt.. no idea :( If it really doesn't fit and is not adjustable, you could also buy a cheap shirt that looks similar to his and sew the Buttons onto it 👀
Oh and what do you mean by the cosplay is discontinued? I can still see it on DokiDoki D:

And yeah, cosplay sleeves are a bane of my existance too, we suffer together- Although from what I saw at least Venti's ones are a bit longer to begin with, so this maaay not be such a big issue in his case? (I hope so at least)
Plus, sadly (or thankfully) the cosplay I'm eyeing doesn't even have the thights, which is pretty common in seccond-hand Venti cosplays. But I'll just get my own pair, it's not like the lack of the little triangles on the side will be super noticable :^
As for sewing, yeah, I don't know too much about it either ^^"
Thankfully I have a local tailor nearby, she already helped me with the sleeves on my Freminet cosplay a while back so I can always just go and ask her for help.
Oh, and I thought of a simmilar thing too! Since most of Venti's back is covered by the cape, small adjustments probably aren't too noticable, and worst-case-scenerio the shirt could technically be replaced by a thrifted one (though I imagine finding one where the sleeves match would be a challange, but it is doable) c:
Also, by discontinued I just meant that there is a new SR version of him! I think the main change were the metallic accessories, but I wasn't sure if they made changes to the costume itself too or not, so I was trying to find people talking about the older version of SR just in case.

Uh.. I've no idea tbh :( I'm a size 85 and I can remeber that I struggled a bit more to put the shirt on with a bra (just for trying it on) than with a binder. So maybe as long as you don't wear a push-Up but a binder, it should be fine? xDD I can't remember the shirt 100% but I still know it was very tight in the bust area 😭

Well, I bought the cosplay in the end, it should probably arrive in 3-4 days, so here's to hoping it will be fine lol
