My wife and I (we're in our mid-sixties) just began binging on Alias on Amazon Prime and want to applaud Jennifer Garner's incrediblely multi-faceted and fearless performances on that well-written show. How did she NOT win an Emmy?

I have watched these two ladies, and Katie with Ina, and I was struck by how nice and supportive these ladies are of each other. They are respectful, and speak so well of others, ie Taylor Swift. And positive! What a nice change that is! Hope it is contagious!
that pear lime jello on lettuce is a southern thing. my grandmother from Arkansas would make it for holiday dinners. and yes, canned pears, 😲 love them because of that!

I swear the glasses are the same. Jennifer and Katie are too cute. I don't usually watch stuff like this. But I had to break away from all the political stuff for a little bit. And this was kind of sweet..peace.

I am so glad to hear about the Save the Children Foundation. I agree with Jen about all those children around the hard to rich countries around the world but there are so many many children in poverty in our own backyard..so kudos to her good works!!

I remember Katie making her Mom’s stuffed pears and jello salad one year on the Today show. It’s a very 1950s ladies lunch dish.
That was called “salad” when we were young. A bit different today.
