@Christopher Bingham how bout no. Sheldon didnt give a crap about georgies feelings and was only thinking about himself. The motivational speech he gave to georgie wasnt meant for georgie. He was talking about himself.
Sheldon has always been narcissistic and it just proves he thinks of himself of more important then anyone else.
He probably got annoyed by Sheldon and wanted to get rid of him somehow without his parents yelling at him

Mandy's mom face expression when she realized the baby is not named after her. 😂😂😂 She kicked her daughter out of the house for being pregnant and now she is annoyed that the baby got the name after Conie who treated Mandy like her own kid, loved her and took care of her from the day 1. No one deserves more than meemaw to get a baby named after her ❤️
Ikrr like what is she surprised for? There was no way that Mandy would name her daughter after her mother who LITERALLY kicked her out for being PREGNANT. Honestly the coopers deserve it especially Connie

I’m surprised they lasted that long and didn’t get a divorce because Mandy’s mom is one of the only characters that’s more insufferable than Mary.
He only took his wife’s side (reluctantly) because he wanted to be a good husband, but at the cost of being a good father to his daughter (they have a son).
He is kind & decent person.

Naming her after meemaw is the sweetest thing to do. Am happy it means a lot to her too.
The way he walked into the room and commanded it was great. It captured how he reset and refocused after Sheldon's speech stirred him. He was always considerate to Mandy but in the past might have tried to make everyone happy if they chirped after he told them "out". Instead he politely but firmly directed them out of her room showing he truly was ready not just to be a good partner in the pregnancy but a good father in the child's life.
Both Mandy’s Dad and George were smiling ear to ear when he took control 😭
I loved the nod George gave to little georgie when he announced of their baby arrival!!!

The 2 Georges are my favourite characters in Young Sheldon. While grown up Sheldon had warm feelings towards Meemaw and Mary, we see so much more of the Georges and what them who they are. And then my heart broke a little for Missy. Poor thing, after everything she said about never having anyone on her corner, she's still the forgotten one 😭
I guess that's why she was happy in BBT. The best way to defeat a bully, or in her case bullies(Sheldon and mom), is to live your best life and be happy.
family is falling apart. bit by bit you see the cracks and sheldon the main character has to stay the same... almost insufferable but in a cute way, cause his character growth happens in big bang. that's why the interesting characters here are the people around sheldon.
@@MrEnony Him not being able to change is kinda why I never got into YS, and why I only watch clips. The whole Mandy & Georgie storyline really seems interesting, and based on clips I do like Meema & Missy's personalities, but I never really cared about Sheldon to begin with and with a childhood friend whose mom was (and I think still is) super religious like Mary, I can't stand her either.

Missy is the only girl and the middle child and her only saving attribute was being a twin, but as her twin was a boy, the first born boy, Missy never had a chance in the family.
I hope she marries a billionaire who worships the ground she walks on and who takes her side every time in an argument, and runs to comfort her whenever she is hurt or sad.
Let her write a best loved series of books that win top awards and are turned into academy awardvwinning films.
She should also have twin girls who are BOTH nobel prize winners in physics, two award years in a row.
Now write that up and make it happen. Title it Missy.❤

Such great acting in this scene. Mandys dad lighting up, when he says my daughters having a baby, I’m thrilled! The nod and handshake, Georgie gets from his father. As if to say welcome to manhood. Meemaws sigh of exclamation and excitement, about Constance being named after her. Well done!
I like Mandy's look of terror when her Mum says she'll take Georgie's place during the birth.
When Georgie reveals that they named their daughter after Meemaw the look on Mandy’s dads face at 4:04 is of pure joy compared to his wife’s reaction.
Love how the first thing Georgie asked is if she wanted all the people around her, and listened to her answer

Same, in my mind, I think it was a sign of respect from the two. Also, when George shook Georgie's hand and nodded, that in my opinion was all he needed to do. He did not need to say anything. Guys can understand facial expressions from other men

Sheldon didnt install the car seat. Georgie did that himself but sheldon, unintentionally, made him realize that he had to be there for his Child to be born because if he wasnt he would have never forgiven himself.
He didnt tell that to mandy at that moment because he didnt want to give her concerns.

It really is my dad was there for his first grandchild being born we all joke how we're the only ones that's ever kept my dad up. (He has narcolepsy so he falls asleep everywhere)

I like how Mandy’s father likes Georgie and actually takes his side. While her mom acts like a stuck up fool. Both men in that room were actually really impressed with Georgie, you can see it with their reactions when he says “everyone out”.
George was getting chummy with Brenda..
Mary was getting close to having an affair with pastor Rob. she dreamed allot of it that happening too.
Jim is right about his daughter.
Plus the fact George jr has it where it counts.
I like the fact she named the baby after Connie. Connie and Mandy were becoming extremely close friends because they choose to be.
Just a tip for any new parents: if you call your local fire department, they usually have firefighters certified to install car seats. They will teach you how to properly do it, and also check your car seat for you if you do it yourself!

I don’t think he saw it as cheating though, I think George was always loyal to Mary but as she started getting a little too tight with the Pastor, he started talking to other women more.
Meemaw took care of her so it's reasonable to name the baby after her 😂

It's because they were delaying the death of George Senior. In the show Sheldon and Missy have barelly 14 years while in real life they have 15 so they are older than their characters and in teenagers you can see that difference. George is supposed to die when Sheldon is 14 yeara old

This was such a good episode
Mandy's mom is by far the worst character in the show. She kicked Mandy out instead of supporting her, pushes her husband around, refuses to have anything to do with the soon to be father of her grandchild, and I could go on. I hope she has character development since her grandkid is born now.
And yet she STILL expected that they would name the baby after her.

I don’t blame Georgie for having a moment of weakness. As a 17 year old, he’s shown more maturity and responsibility than his whole life, even more than Mandy! He’s been so solid til the day finally came, it’s about time he had a freakout. Ironic Sheldon is the one telling him what he needs to hear.

Meemaw was more of a mom to Mandy that her own mom ever was. I can never imagine kicking my own child out for being pregnant, so Meemaw deserves to be honored
Mandy's mom has an insane sense of entitlement if she really expected the baby to be named after her after kicking her daughter out for getting pregnant.
For those who don't know, Meemaw's name is also Constance. Love this scene very much.
