Hmm, so it looks like the stage counter will work correctly until at least 99. It would be interesting to see whether it rolls or not (and you would get to 99 in the 450K point range based on this video's scoring rate, so long before any potential score rollover).

With all the luck in the world I don't think I can push the score past 300K. Maybe a TAS run might show what happens.
