This is a great nature tank, I’ve never done it on such a scale! I just have a jar with plants from a pond that came with a bunch of microfauna but also like 20 planaria and a leech. re:superglue, it’s not going to kill the fish so it’s not harmful in that way. Long term effects depend on the chemical composition but it does eventually degrade into microplastics etc
This is great! I just made a shrimp jar with a big carboy and gosh it was so expensive to buy aqua scaping stuff the plants were so expensive. Inspiring to use nature around you!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’ll be honest about how easy or hard it is getting this low budget tank off the ground. The roses reds have begun eating the water lettuce, so that needs a solution now. A shrimp jar sounds really fun, thanks for checking me out and hope to see you around!
This is awesome, dude! 😁 Have you ever seen that TH-cam channel called "Foo the Flowerhorn"? He makes really cool-looking natural tanks. Also I love how addicts pick up the most random of hobbies to fill up the time we used to spend doing drugs, lol 😂
Rosey red minnows are life now. And yeah, the addict hobby is so real. So much time, money and energy to find a hobby! My life is a graveyard of hobbies! So many “how to” books bought at discount and binned later
Ok, I'm totally invested in this tank now 😂 I'm also deada$$ broke and have an empty 20gal that I wanna play with. Will copy what works here 👍 Edit: Boo! Why'd it cut out??
This stream gathered tank is fun for sure! The video cut out because im as trash as my tank, lol! I’m new to this, but, I’ll at least be honest if everything lives or dies!
Thank you for talking about this aspect of the hobby.
Thanks for watching! It’s a lot of fun figuring this out.
