I played it at Summer NAMM and it played/sounded as good as it looks. I would have loved to take it with me but I didn't have $4500 to throw around. I think that's what it costed. Probably cost more to be honest.
@@shredfreak83 ehm... since he was considering buying it at NAMM (thus in the US) he would have had to pay the local VAT only and not the Dutch VAT (there is no EU VAT BTW).
Since I saw a video about how maniacally Nikola selects wood and how long it takes him to make sure it will be stable forever, I am hoping one day I'll have one. Among the best luthiers in the world.
Beautiful basses! Lars as always with flawless execution, and Gregor with the immaculate production. Unrelated to the basses, but do you have a go-to reverb plugin you use? It always sounds divine in your recordings.
i ordered my adamovic 5 years ago. Never stopped playing that bass since the day it went home. I sold a Fodera, a F-bass and an Alleva Coppolo. Compared to the adamovic, they were just bad.

Very punchy, without overwhelming highs like a lot of its ilk. Pretty cool for aggressive or solo playing. I`d love to see you guys review some Yamaha or LTD stuff, or most of all, the Godin Dorchester.

Another overpriced bass made by a luthier who wants to put their hand in the pie for money. My Squire 70s modified jazz bass sounds just as good.
