Marty C for many of us its a real unfortunate turn he took in his music career. Hes allso did not live through the 70s. He barely experienced the 80s. Im not sure why hes set on sampling the 70s and 80s so much in this manner. He used to be a groovy shredding blues guys. So why not sample the awesome groovy psychedelic stuff from the 70s instead of the poppy dribble. : (
Saw the third show of his new tour, last night in Seattle. If you can get a ticket to an upcoming show I highly recommend it. His backing band is stellar. Worth the $35.
I moved from New York With my boogie board And bought a big house on the ocean I stopped being me I took the shoes off my feet Just because I took the notion My hair gave in so my beard came out Caused quite a face of commotion It grew past my lips and then it covered my mouth So no one could read my emotions Malibu Man Isn't life great Got the world in his hands Malibu Man Sometimes I get up But I'm feeling down I don't have a sister or brother No family no wife But I'm still living my life Just step from a stone to another I'm a myth of man I ride the waves when I can I make the music so people will buy it I take pride in my ways And my colossal duvets I'm just an old fashion retailers riot Malibu Man Isn't life great Got the world in his hands Malibu Man
Found this guy after Tidal auto-played him after listening to my own music, little did I know he is the singer of the Black keys. Duh. I don't mind the black keys, but he is pretty damn great by himself.
Look for the live version of this very good song, at Music Hall in Williamsburg. It's better than the album one. Better sound (I'm not very happy with how the violins sound here), better feel, in my opinion; it's a shame it barely reached about 6,400 views on TH-cam. Hopefully, it'll get a LOT more.
Yikes, what an unenlightened comment. Artists are allowed to branch out and put out feel-good bangers like this. If anything, he had balls to create a song like this.
Keep it Hid is one of my all-time favorite albums, but I also enjoy the heck out of this. It's part of what I love about Auerbach's catalog, I have something for every mood and emotion.
This guy is criminally underrated as a guitarist and performer..
i mean the black keys are very famous...if you mean as a solo i agree.
amen.
Word up
Honestly, there are times where I feel the Black Keys are underrated.
I mean he has like 5 grammys but whatever
I think there's a comment on every song of the album that says, "Best song on the album." Can we all just agree that this whole album is awesome? haha
I like the fact that he has done absolutely no advertising over this album. Like some real underground staff.
Totally agree with all who said, "Best song on the album!" I'm playing this one with the windows rolled down.
Every day lol
Glad he's Auerbach
nice

#playmorechopscrewedgeorgemichael
Hahaha nice. He’s got yourbach and mybach so that makes sense
A true soul of the 70's. Good Job Dan.

@@alexgalindo476 I hear Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, and Thom Bell production and chord changes. He's listening to the right stuff.
Best song on the album
Beamer TheAnarchist This review was helpful
this one is good, they all are, but I'm more partial to Cherrybomb for my favorite song off this album.
Beamer TheAnarchist never in my wildest dreams 😎😎😎
Lmao no, show me is the best one out of it
You know the album is good, when virtually every song is someone or more's favorite song on the album.
"I'm just a old fashion retailers riot"... I mean... How can anyone be so creative ? Perfect lyrics.
Greatest album I've heard in a long time... Genius level
That's horn section and bass line.... My gosh, so good :D
Saw the third show of his new tour, last night in Seattle. If you can get a ticket to an upcoming show I highly recommend it. His backing band is stellar. Worth the $35.
Jucofootball I'm seeing them in cleveland so hopefully it's dope!
easily the best song on the album
Maaaan Steven suptic knows his music. This shit is great
I moved from New York
With my boogie board
And bought a big house on the ocean
I stopped being me
I took the shoes off my feet
Just because I took the notion
My hair gave in so my beard came out
Caused quite a face of commotion
It grew past my lips and then it covered my mouth
So no one could read my emotions
Malibu Man
Isn't life great
Got the world in his hands
Malibu Man
Sometimes I get up
But I'm feeling down
I don't have a sister or brother
No family no wife
But I'm still living my life
Just step from a stone to another
I'm a myth of man
I ride the waves when I can
I make the music so people will buy it
I take pride in my ways
And my colossal duvets
I'm just an old fashion retailers riot
Malibu Man
Isn't life great
Got the world in his hands
Malibu Man

Best song on the album 🙌
The whole album could be the Awesome Mixtape volume 3 (Guardians of the Galaxy), except for the year of release.... but damn Starlord would love this
agree
I love that sounds
I love this guy . He’s fuckin great!
If this life were easy, wouldn't everyone be doing it?
Get me some toast, this is my fuckin' jam.
Ah, real music.
JayBird seriously? Have you not heard of..."the seventies"? You need to go visit a real record shop, purchase a record player and educate .yourself.

Dan did it again!

Are you using a limiter? in your 7k? or something

Suptic
This should be in the young tony soprano movie
Damn dude leave some talent for the rest of us 😡

Saturday Sinner Sunday Saint by Potter's Poets....Check it out
よい
Her here's an idea.. cell phone chargers that work more than a fucking week
This track remeber me to Quentin Tarantino films
Just a taste of "Cecelia".
Akron Man
Isn't Dan great?
He's got the guitar pick in his hands, Akron Man
Target's muzak brought me here
Sitting here with Rick Rubin and he thumbsed down after 42secs 😢
Does anyone else think the melody/tempo sounds very similar to Cecilia by Simon & Garfunkel?
Its fine but none of his stuff is original and doesnt grab me
good guy, but zero charisma
Eek. Haven't checked in on Dan in a while. It's always sad when musicians lose any semblance of having balls.
i know this is a three year old comment but i’m genuinely very intrigued about what this comment is referring to.
@@hem9483 5 year old comment now, still genuinely very intrigued about what this comment is referring to.

keep it hid to this? keep it hid jammed but this is just bad
Keep it Hid is one of my all-time favorite albums, but I also enjoy the heck out of this. It's part of what I love about Auerbach's catalog, I have something for every mood and emotion.
