I had one like that for a few years, thick and heavy and oh my, love it. Its heavy yeah... but it feels a lot sturdier and might actually protect me if i trip and kiss the ground so to speak. I have a PTS mtek one as well and honestly very similar, but half the price of the PTS

Hey Muddy! It's been a while! Exams are coming close and it's only 7 days away from now. Speaking of which, sweet FMA FAST XP helmet, on second thought, this one or the Maritime (MT) one, you can definitely make a Philippine NAVSOCOM loadout out of them since it's what our guys here happen to rock with, along with the NAVSOCOM tiger neck gaiter. Eye pros are pretty sparsely chosen among different SEALs, so is hearing protection. While we happen to usually rock PVS-14s here, I think it's more appropriate if you could grab some FMA PVS-31s instead, along with COMTACs and the counterweights. The FAST XP is on the list for me if I don't get to grab my dream Airframe helmet, same goes for the MICH helmet which I might deck it out to where it's based on the BPRE NITTO Spearhead operator (like the one I previously sent). Really liking how THICC the XP is, though the FAST SF one is pretty much a meh, I guess corners were cut but if only they're made just as *THICC* as the FAST XP, I might grab one but since my ears aren't positioned weirdly just like you and others who are American or European, I don't really have much of a need for a higher cut of a helmet since default high cuts like the XP, EXFIL and the Airframe can just suit my needs just nicely. I went, "Eyyyy", as you slapped the G24 repros on the shroud though, it matched the gold shroud a lot nicely ngl, though I felt really bad when you had to go out of your way just to show the actual Ops Core chinstrap via removing the gucci parts off your black XP "kevlar" helmet.

Really depends on the seller and where you got it. I got this from a local swap meet, but when I ordered a pair of Emerson woodland combat pants and they took about a week or two to ship. Also appreciate it and thanks for the comment and checking out the review.
