Somehow my original video upload vanished from TH-cam... Here we go again. If you haven't watched this yet, enjoy and feel free to send me some questions! Happy to answer.
Damn TH-cam equals twice the work and half the fun? The 3m carbon vinyl is the bomb. I swear it held together my rear triangle for long enough to get off the trail :)
Hey Nate, thanks for explaining the "why" behind component selection and how you build it. Question about your wheels. Do they have more side flex in corners than your old wheels?
I am not sure "side flex" is accurate. They feel stiff while turning in hard compressions but have some give when you hit rocks or small bumps. Very interesting feel that I have not experienced with other wheels. My experience with wheels has been that the stiff ones that feel good on hardpack, feel terrible and deflect in rocky situations. The Zipps somehow feel great in both. I am impressed.
@@natehills9388 great to hear. It sounds like they could be a really good fit for a hardtail. So... if you were at a pump track railing berms, you wouldnt feel any of the "ankle flex"? It'd be stiff side to side like a normal wheel? Pretty sweet idea.
Love these build videos.. great work sir. I’m gonna throw 2 questions at ya. 1, do you know the diameter of that tubing you use on the rear derailleur cable? Definitely want to start that same habit. 2, would you use the 150 as a trail bike or just for racing? I’m still on my trusty SB95, but plan to buy a bike this summer.. the 130 was looking good, the 130 LR now has my eye, but still think the 150’s ability to plow through stuff on the descents might be awesome, not sure how I’d feel about climbing with it. I live and ride the CO front range stuff, with ventures out to Moab and Fruita when I can. Thanks again and keep up the crushing.
I brought a piece of housing to the hardware store to size the tubing. I was amazed at how well this thing climbed when I rode it yesterday. I will be racing this and my 130 all year, terrain dependant. Trail rides too. Thanks for watching!
Yo man what size are you running on your sb150 and how tall are you. Im ordering one of these tomorrow I'm 5 foot 10 just wanna make sure I'm getting the right one
Hi Nate, can you coment something about your tires? Agressot Vs high roller un the rear? 2.5 front and rear, its not too effort for the long climbs? Whit this size what psi are tou running front and rear? Exo+ front, rear not will have also more sense for more protection? Thanks dude
I think a 2.5 Aggressor in the rear rolls a touch faster. I always run 2.5 front and rear. I switch between DD and exo, depending on terrain. The new exo+ is cool too. It falls right in between. I run 26-30 in the rear and two less in front typically.
Nice...but gawd that tomahawk at 9:05! Glad the saddle was fine, but what about the frame? And how do you like the Zipp wheels? Like the more than the Rovals?
What would you choose between SB165 and 150? We don’t have a demo in our region that’s why i am really intrigued with this brand.Based on your experience what would you prefer without anticipating the trail you are in?
Awesome, just didn't know if there was a preference for cables at play. Not that that makes a lot of sense given the choice of seatpost. Stoked to see how it holds up!
Nate Hills - lol thanks, man. That’s what I figured. That stand has probably seen a lot of use! I’m using the red Feedback Sports stand, and I really love it. Just in case you’re ever in the market for a new stand.
Was waiting and waiting ..... have to tell you didn’t disappointed me : great bike and components; carefully selected your tops/shirts, plus tasty wine; you are quite an actor, goofy one which I like very much, you will love it, now we have the same bikes and on skills abilities will NOT mention ( he’ll no no🙄🙄🙄🙄!!!)have many many “crashless”days with her💪👌💪👌💪

I’m feeling a sense of déjà vu here😂
I just came back to like your video again 😎. Legend Nate. Awesome bike. I’d love to try those wheels! So expensive 👎🏼
This by far the most entertaining bike check ever. Way to keep the audience awake
This is the most hilarious bike building video ever, that ridiculous editing and goofness throughout 😂
Thanks for watching the stupidity, lol

@@hardtailparty Perfect for a hardtail. Stiff where you want them, but won't beat the shit out of you in the rocks. Haha.
A bottle of St. Emilion Grand Cru mounted on the frame. Brilliant!

Haha, All star cast still missing.
I got the smc sadel, its nice and room its for a tubolito between the rails. I think it is with a battery to!
I feel as if you spent more time changing shirts than editing. Thanks for the laughs and bike porn.
LOL, I wish that was the case.
Can’t wait to see you shred on this beast

@@natehills9388 thanks man I think I will go for medium then
Enjoy that thing!
Bike looks epic!
Thoughts on using a normal coil vs progressive coil on the 150? think it makes a difference? deciding what one to throw on there. thx bru
I guess if I wanted a more progressive feel, I would just go with an air shock. The air can is almost a pound lighter after all.
Hi, Nate 👍😎 Super video and Nice bike 🐕
That is my dream bike definitely

AXS is in the mail! Stoked for it.
