@@eltiolavara9 yeah apparently Keita Takahasi didn't even want a sequel to the original game. he wasn't involved in any of the games outside of the first two and he said it was never his intention to build a franchise off of the first game, so it seems like he's done with the series. he recently made a game called Wattam though, and it's supposed to be really aesthetically similar to the Katamari games, so if you like the Katamari series you should definitely give that a try! plus there's like 6 games in the original Katamari series in total, so there's still a lot to play since you're just getting into it
