Disneyland Paris Pirates and Princesses Festival Preview Event - Full Presentation

- Over the weekend, guests at the Palais Garnier opera house in Paris were treated to a first glimpse at the Pirates & Princesses Festival, which begins March 31 as part of the resort’s 25th Anniversary celebration.
The evening included a sneak peek of the bright costumes and fun choreography guests will see in the park in just a few weeks. Among those in attendance were Miss France 2018 Maëva Coucke and Argentine French actress Bérénice Bejo (“The Artist”), as well as dozens of beloved Disney characters - and a few rapscallions.
Soon guests at Disneyland Paris will have the chance to join in the interactive show “Disney Pirate or Princess: Make Your Choice!” which offers a different story depending on the team they choose. The two worlds will also come together daily as the Disney Princesses float and the Pirates float meet for a musical celebration in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Those stairs reminds me of beauty and the beast for all that french style.
All I could think of was the phantom of the opera😂

C'est quand même mille fois mieux en plein air dans le parc. On pouvait être dubitatif en voyant ça mais une fois dans le parc, ce show est tout simplement le meilleur en plein air depuis bien longtemps.

This event looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun, however it tells me that Disney REALLY Needs more Pirate Characters rather than Princesses
I know, Princesses are more popular. But I feel like they could use more Pirates to balance out this event.

They could use heroes theme instead of pirates for the boys, that way they could use the characters such as Hercules, Aladdin, Robin hood and many other males characters

I'm sure that a lot of disney fans are thinking why is moana in, because I know what they are going to say, they will be like, why is moana or vaiana is in this since she didn't got coronated as an offical Disney princess

Where are Pocahontas and Mulan? They’re Disney princesses too. And why is Moana there? She hasn’t had a coronation. You know who has? Elena! Where is she?
Moana-Vaiana is popular in France, more than Frozen if we count the cinemas tickets sold. Elena show audience is anecdotal until they'll release on free-to-air TV, and it's hard to never think to Twilight Sparkle when you listen Elena voice in french (Same VA).
Elena and Sophia have their own parade now at disney land paris. It's fantastic too!!!

You're joking right? Of course they do.. it's in a French speaking country. They do their best to provide a two way conversation between French and English so both predominant languages can understand.
Ellie Mehaffy Ofc But They have guests from all over the world and ALOT of europeans who do not speak french But are actually pretty Good at english
I understand where you're coming from, but in my experience with the park as an English speaker with no French understanding, they do incoprorate both English and French in their shows and it's very easy to pick up what they're saying. I do get it though because this show is French heavy in that the two hosts both tend to speak French. Whereas, in the Starlit Princess Waltz for example, they have one French and one English host. I don't think the language barrier interferes with a show like this though, especially one of high energy and less storytelling.
For the kids that dosn't matter I think. They are happy if their favorite princess ist waving ,smiling and dancing for them. And at other shows they try to do their best to mix french and english.
