I’ve read articles from other Christians that speak so badly about Reverend James Cleveland. I don’t care what anyone says, he may have had his demons, honestly don’t know because I was a very young kid. But I do know that his singing and story telling is helping me through my spiritual journey. I feel like he was one of God’s messenger who was human. I don’t know of any perfect humans.

James Cleveland was a flawed man like us all. However, that did not tarnish his legacy and his music is eternal. I think what stops his life from being a movie are the sexual allegations which didn't tarnish his legacy, but if proven factual could do just that. I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Cleveland once. He was not just a musical genius but an extraordinary businessman an almost an intellectual genius.
