I want to thank you all for your kind, encouraging words and condolences. It means more to me than you know. Even on my worst days, I pray and thank God for his love, mercy, and blessings. I've had some weary days and sleepless nights. Sometimes the clouds hang so low, I can hardly see the road. But God's been good to me. He wipes all my tears away and turns my midnight into day. He knows what's best for me. Sometimes I ask the question, "Lord, why so much pain?".But when I take a look around, and I think things over...I realize that all my good days outweigh my bad days, and I won't complain. 🙏💪❤

I lost my mother at the age of 11 got pregnant at 15 my X boyfriend killed my baby I was in an abusive realationahip from one failed realationahip to the next divorce 2 and was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2021 today I am cancer free and in therapy trusting God I am not letting God go it's all about Jesus Christ for me!!!!!

30 mins later I got a call and the hospic told me she had passed away and the song I was play qas I did not come this far for tou to leave me I was holding her hands for twelve years I could not hold her hand for her final walk she had to walk that road alone.

Prior to that, my mom and I watched this video several times...and I will never forget the day and way she looked at me and said, 'Baby don't you ever Lose Your FAITH!!! Since then, everytime I watch this video--Tears are on Stream Mode. I Look to God & Thank Him for ALL HE DOES!!! Cuz God is STILL GOOD AND FOREVER FAITHFUL!!!!!!!!!

church was still rocking with the spirit of God .Athera Franklin was there singing many times and other famous gospel singers. I was in my late 20’s now I’m 70yrs. He passed before my mom, but I could heard and appreciate his service’s from around the corner. Thank you Yeshua-Jesus

This song has been a source of hope and strength for me right now. At 61 I find myself homeless and living in my car. But the Lord is still provides for me. My dad played this for me one time when i was younger. One day this song pulled up on my youtube feed. I ignored it because i didnt know it, but the holy spirit kept telling me to listen to it. I ignored the holy spirit for a week. Then finally i listened to it. Within a couple of seconds i knew where i heard this song from, and i started to cry. God showed up on time. My dad played this song for me.

I don't know anything about Rev. Cleveland James more than what I read about him in the various comments. Therefore, I cannot give a true judgment on his life. He and God will deal with that aspect of his life. And knowing the God I serve, oh yes, He will. So, I will not comment on his life relative to that alleged accusation. What I do know about him, having listened to his many songs and compositions, he was a very great and gifted singer and I believe he has blessed many souls with his singing ministry, even now, though he is no longer with us.
Finally, in Romans 1:21-31, it is clearly stated that God is against such practices and there is a judgment pronounced against those who indulge in such practices. However, if those who indulge in such acts, repent of their sins, the God we serve will forgive them of their sins, not in death but while they are alive. Because there is no repentance in the grave.

It is true that many of the churches today have turned from preaching and teaching the absolute truth of God's Word, but God always have some faithful reserved for himself. Elijah thought he was the only real prophet of God left (because Jezebel was killing God's prophets) and wanted to die because of this but God's response to him was "I have reserved 7000 prophets unto me that have not bowed to baal." However, we are told not to forsake the fellowship of the church because we receive strength from one another. When, we don't fellowship we will get weak spiritually.
The question that we need to ask is, why is the church in the shape it's in today? The apostle Paul told Timothy "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." 1Tim. 4:1-3
I truly believe that we are living in these days right before the return of the Lord for his people. It is closer than we think.
We have continue to trust God and seek him through prayer, fasting, and through his Holy Word. He will lead us to a place where we can worship and serve him faithfully, where the truth of his Word is being both preached and taught.

My mom and daddy are still living, and grandmother and grandpa are in heaven. They all loved James Cleveland. He came to our city before I was born in 1972 I was born in 1976. Today mom and dad still talk about him coming to our city. Daddy says that man could play a piano. My grandparents on my mother side died 2 weeks apart when I was 14yrs old. Both of their funerals this song was sang by our church choir. Our organist played anthems and hymns but he also loved James Cleveland’s music. Thanks for the memories.

Hearing this song at 1am thinking about the times God was speaking to me when I stood by my ailing Grandma and my twin brother on life support. Now that I have repented and been baptized in water and spirit knowing scripture more I can fully understand what this song is talking about. Sometimes God will bring you to your knees to see how you respond to trials. Sometimes He will take your twin brother that dealt with a blessing in disguise disorder to get to your heart. But there is no better feeling after making it through that storm to help others get saved. Acts 2:38 God bless everyone!!

I miss this kind of singing in church today
I just had this to happen in the grocery store a few days ago. A minister spoke as he passed me by. I smiled to acknowledge his greeting and kept walking. But the feeling left upon me was very strange and unusual and stayed with me until I inquired of the Lord what it all meant. I could not sort this one out. So I seeking the Lord until God's peace returned to me. The Lord has spoke some time ago and said, it is going to get darker. He's speaking of spiritual darkness. Spiritual discernment will be paramount for the days ahead. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And lean not to thy own understanding. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding shall guard and keep thee. Shalom, shalom.
My faith is the only is way I can go through what I am going through right now. September 8th my older sister passed away. September 9th my younger cousin had a stroke, September 15th my uncle passed away. my aunt in Atlanta had a stroke 2 years ago, my other uncle in Africa had Slight stroke and my other uncle legs are swells from kidney disease. my youngest cousin has stage four cancer of the uterus. How can one person handle this? I almost lost my faith, :But I will keep holding on to God's unchanging hands and he will carry me through during this test of time. I can remember hearing this live version on 96.3 WHUR every Sunday morning, before my Mom sent me to church....every Sunday, I heard it. It got so, to where I could actually sing it backwards, I knew this song so well.
