Im a Ajax fan since van Basten played there, seen talents come and go but Litmanen still remains my favorite player. Underated perhaps not always getting the recognition he deserves but who cares. Those who have seen him play know how good he was. Absolute legend.

Litmanen and Michael Laudrup feeding Arveladze was my first real taste of class in football. Was also the last season for a lot of players from that magical squad Ajax had. Good times.
He would've been Liverpool legend if injuries didn't come to play.. Too bad he didn't have a change to repeat what he did in Ajax because it's a damn sure he would've did it otherwise. He's a Legend in my books and imho one of the greatest mid fielders ever, hands down. Without injuries.. ooowee! Get out the way, flying finn incoming!

I was still a youngster when Jari played for Ajax. He was a role model for me and made me a better player myself. He had a sort of elegance over him, that is hard to describe. Yeah he belongs to those up there, where it's lonely..
King Bensley yes I agree one of the best players I ever seen.if he was Brazilian he Will be still more recognised. in, ,some aspects he played like Pele : same vista and intelligence ,same abilities .and also great power in his game.he was away better than a lot of legends. .
