Mine is home made you can find out how to make them fairly easy here on you tube and for files I use a regular bastard Nicholson file yes I said bastard lol for some reason that's what they call them

Looks like you used JB Weld epoxy which is what I'm using to add an antler pommel to my HELLE GT handle. Good craftsmanship. A knife to be proud of and hand down through the generations.
OK, different nations sometimes different adhesives available. Here in the States JB Weld is a two part (white and black) epoxy that has tiny steel "hairs" as a matrix strengthener. The resultant gray, non-shrink repair is extremely strong, can be filed, sanded and otherwise shaped. I see you use a LANSKY sharpener for a precise angle on the edge. I use one too. Their diamond bars are the best compared to the stones.
hey RvD Knives that is a relay cool knife but i can say that your square shoulders (on the knives) can cause stress fracturing during times of stress for the knife like in a hunting/camping scenario. the best way to stop that would be to round out those shoulders so that your knives dont break in that area. hope this is helpful p.s shoulders = the transition between the tang and the blade
Thank you very much for your comment! I am aware of fatigue cracks due to stress concentrations at sharp edges. (I am a mechanical engineer) However, Those transitions you mentioned are nor very sharp. they are handfiled, so there is a natural radius due to inaccuracies. Also, the tang is very thick and with such a small knife you cannot generate forced to cause stress cracks. Of course every knife can be destroyed if you apply enough force at the right place. This small knife however is not intended for heavy use

THe epoxi is UHU 300 plus. It's the most common glue in central Europe and the most durable and tough glue you can get here :)
