Glad to hear it! As far as your question goes, I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Picture in picture like having a photo or video on top of the bottom video layer? If that's what you meant then yes. All you have to do is drag the picture or video above the bottom video layer.
How did you do a special resolution? I did a video project with Hitfilm Express and the final product was fuzzier than initial recording. I put the project in small youtube format and the video was recorded in1280 x 720 30 fps. (I only had two options.. youtube 1080 HD or the big one) I would like to make it so the small text on the screen is readable in the final video like it is in the initial recording. Any help appreciated! Also, I want to thank you for making this video because this GREATLY helped me learn how to edit my videos and make them that much more enjoyable! It was rather overwhelming at first but watching this video definitely made it much easier!
You can find the font on DaFont.com, although I recommend you look for a font that is 100% Free to use. I didn't realize at the time of making this video, this font is for personal use only. Hope this helps!

As soon as you add it on screen, it should be above your first video layer

My videoes don't show as an option to import, only the folders!

Search on your browser (your file) to mp4
If your file isnt supported maybe try to convert in mp4. Or your footage maybe recorded in h265 format.
