Some Dylan parallels (Berle punching the air rn): both came up skating transition and big rails, were pretty enough to have wider fame early and cultivated a skater/surfer boy look for mall sales. their earlier parts were developmental, hidden power level parts full of style and potential. and they both used a longer format solo part to re-define themselves after adolescence as more gritty, thoughtful and powerful

Yea I think Louie is just as close friends with Curren as he is Mason, maybe even closer. They both grew up together. There was such a long gap between Current’s last part until now though. I figured he was injured or just surfing more since his dad was a pro surfer. Curren could possibly become a pro surfer too but his skating is super impressive. Similar to Wilkins on vert, Curren makes big bowl skating look so effortless. Amazed he can do such giant rails too!

I can see some similarities but I think Curren’s style is cleaner. He looks like he’s surfing all the time and every trick is damn near flawless and very elegant. Dylan was less of a tranny skater, so Curren’s is more towards that style.

I seriously respect that gnarly af ender in the bowl. That’s at least a 10-12’ wall and he blasts nearly 10 feet above coping with a heelflip tail grab! It’s insane, and I really don’t agree with GH about it being lame for being in a park. Any tranny skater would say that’s a proper ender. That’s pretty much the only place you’ll find skateable bowls, so tranny skaters sort of. have to have some park footage in their parts. He wasn’t that impressed by his huge air in that sketchy backyard pool, the angle of that wall is so bad for doing airs yet Curren makes it look so easy. either, and an actual street bowl. It kinda comes across as you can’t skate bowls period in a video part. Pretty lame opinion to me. Love GH’s stuff though, just had to throw some hate haha
