@@brianachim2670 my theory is that do to a loss of communications many groups of people where scattered across the planet after the evacuation probably heading to any remaning standing settlements or strongholds that had not fallen to the locust or lambent. Like sanctuary for example although aperently they abandoned that beacuse of countinious lava breaches and assults from hostile forces. I mean we know the remaining UIR went back to grazani, it's possible they took along along alot of refugees.
@@DemicleasWell also when they reached new Jacinto there were stranded there in which there was a small war between them which is what may have cause some deaths until they came together to begin “normal” life.
I think it kinda tells you during GOW 2 on a collectable that basically when they deployed the light mass bomb they thought it worked I'm guessing a few years they thought this but really it didn't work and the locust was just prospering and building their stronghold I think this because at the end of GOW 1 the queen said I can't remember exactly but something along the lines of we are definitely not extinct and at the start of GOW 2 we seen the big numbers of locust patrols in the cutcene and the stronghold that they built and the COG during all this I'm assuming was prospering aswell and living the normal day to day as they thought the war was over until the locust started sinking city's with the giant worm and leaving jacento the last place of refuge for humanity im not one hundred percent sure I'm right it's just a theory I put together using some of the things said or read during the 2 games I could be very wrong because I can't remember if we know if the stronghold was built before or after E-day if I'm not right then I'm sure abz can correct me on anything

@@xavierbrown7503 I honestly would love to see a whole game with the UIR and COG they could make the missions slightly more open but not like gears 5 open, they could bring in vehicles and all types of different COG and UIR units, theres also so many different environments to go too, maybe have it following Marcus and omega or it could have multiple different characters maybe even follow Adam Fenix. Locust vs Lambent could be cool too i wouldnt say let us play as RAAM but maybe one of his blooded vanguard instead, and maybe later down the load it could actually lead to E day but instead of it being against the COG show how the locust crushed the UIR.

@@Burning-Twilight certain aspects. The beginning of gears 4 was ok because it was about kids who don’t know war. But once the locust emerged, I felt they didn’t take the threat serious enough. We talking about beings who wiped out a quarter of humanity in a day. Gears 5 I like what they did to jd and I like Clayton’s niece but everything else id rewrite

I understand kait is related to the previous queen and they wanted to make it about her but I believe it was done poorly. I also would’ve killed some characters off to again establish the threat. I wouldve scratched all of Kaits arc, kept jd’s character progression, and ultimately kill him and del off along with maybe one of the old members whether that’s Baird or Cole. Gears 6 I would’ve had Marcus as the main character. The locust would’ve taken everything from him which would’ve made playing as him in the last entry meaningful. Playing as a rage filled Marcus who wants to end everything would’ve been a good way to end things. U can have kait as a secondary character and go through the whole “queen thing.” Ultimately I would’ve just made kait the new queen
