Friends, I'm glad you waited for the second video! What do you think about it? Critics and suggestions are welcome! Since I don't feel very confident in English yet, I would be grateful for the recommendation of books on geometry in English. Also feel free to point out mistakes or incorrect pronunciation so that the new videos become better
Everything is fine For geometry books I would say that for the classical plane geometry like this video books in english are limited. However there are some old English books like "An elementary treatise on modern pure geometry by Robert lachlan" and other books by Joh casey But thanks to math olympiad there are some new books out there entirely devoted to beautiful synthetic geomety The books published by Titu andresscu 106 and 107 problems in geometry Euclidean geometry in mathematical olympiad by evan chen And a translation of a great masterpiece(from Romanian) "Geometry of Remarkable Elements " by Constantin Mihalescu My one of the biggest flex is to finish this book when I will be in University And there is a another one A beautiful journey through olympiad geometry by stefan lozanovski In my opinion these are the greatest ever Currently published in english Although there are some other too And I think that classical plane geometry is well respected currently in Russia,China,Vietnam, korea and some other eastern european countries like Romania,Poland,Hungary etc I have seen all of their curriculum and textbooks Lastly I would say that I have seen a great amount of Excellent Russian books devoted to geometry but unfortunately I don't know Russian And you should consider them when making videos like this Thank you!!
@@drozfarnyline4940, wow! I really appreciate your recommendations and feedback! There are enough books in my native language to find really beautiful facts, but for writing scripts in English, I have a little lack of vocabulary. But I can deal with it with the help of your recommendations! And, as it turned out, it's sometimes provide proofs of theorems that I had not seen before. Thanks a lot!
@@geometry_manim Don't worry about your "perceived English proficiency" it is perfectly sufficient. Remember that we have 4 (or 5) signatures by William Shakespeare and they are all spelled differently.
Great Video! One thing I'd like to point out is that the theorem you called "pompeiu's theorem" is also known as "van schooten's theorem". It is also a very direct corollary from Ptolemy's theorem
Thank you! My words «even Ptolemey» didn't sound by chance: more general fact could be found in his papers, so I'm agree with you. But does he notice this case with equilateral triangle? I'm not sure. To be honest I've never heard about Van Shootten before, so this is my little fault. Thank you again!
Beautiful work! Excellent animations and the sound quality was very good. The vocal was very easy to understand through the music. I think you gave the vocal the center sonic space and pushed the music left and right. A couple of the English pronunciations were off - such as in the beginning, “height” you pronounced “heet”, it should be “hyte”. I stopped it a couple times because I needed more time to think, but I’m glad you kept it quick. The content could help a student win Mathlete competitions. Bravo! Good job! More videos!
Thanks a lot for the kind words and feedback! I actually say "Let's mark up the feet of the altitudes" at the beginning, but thanks for the note anyway! New video will be out in a week or so. I hope you will like it!
Hi!!!!! First I have to say that animation quality is one of the greatest and secondly now I understand your words of this video of your original Russian channel Speaking of English is roughly fine for me(Although it's not my native one) Well the theorems are so beautiful and I knew all of them and their proofs except one This is the last one. Although I knew about it but as a extreme rigorous GEOMETRY LOVER I failed to find a synthetic proof So, do you have any synthetic proof for it? I would love to know! Lastly a big thanks to you for making such videos and from my experience on youtube I have never seen such beautiful animation entirely devoted to geometry in english Thanks again!!
Hey! Thank you for appreciating the video so much! I know one proof of the Van Lamoen circle theorem through the calculation of angles: www.math.hkust.edu.hk/excalibur/v6_n1.pdf (1-st page) I think it's beautiful enough. How do you think?
This is a great video and great channel overall!!! I really liked the content and the animations, we need more videos please this is an amazing artwork great job sir

The books published by Titu andresscu 106 and 107 problems in geometry Euclidean geometry in mathematical olympiad by evan chen
And a translation of a great masterpiece(from Romanian)
"Geometry of Remarkable Elements " by Constantin Mihalescu
My one of the biggest flex is to finish this book when I will be in
University
And there is a another one
A beautiful journey through olympiad geometry by stefan lozanovski
In my opinion these are the greatest ever Currently published in english

Amazing! I really hope your channel grows, the animation is smooth and concise
Thank you! I'll do my best!
Information is useful and animation video help to understand content better.
Looking forward to get more videos on geometry.
Thank you

Thank you for the kind words! I'll upload more videos here, I promise
🙏🙏🙏 so beautiful!
The mic peaks a lot and its quite annoying for headphone users, otherwise good video 👍
Thank you very much for noticing this! I used a compressor, but didn't notice that the result was still a lot of peaks. I'll try to fix it next time!
Definitely familiar voice
Какой-то знакомый голос
Yeah!
