Yes. It has helped me. I’ve also looked at your slide on fibromyalgia this gentlemen is hard to diagnose but the burning pains are so severe he couldn’t bear cloths touching his body. Any other ideas gratefully received. I tend to use a lot of TUNG acupuncture as well as classical points. 🙏🏽

Inferior in this case, means below (closer to the sole of the foot), proximal (closer to the head) to the metatarsal phalangeal joint 🌷 while SP 2 is still inferior to the joint but distal (faraway from the head).

@Acuproacademy Thank you, I'm both asplenic and (as a result of the major rupture & full abdominal surgery thereafter) have "frozen abdomen" (or massive abdominal adhesions for anyone reading who may not know what that is). My large intestine also deviates now where my actual spleen is missing. I'm seeing an acupuncturist for nearly 1 year now. Although not as consistently as I was when I started. We always focus on my upper body pain (right upper back, neck, sinus, and ear). It does provide relief but I feel as though I may want to seek a practitioner more like yourself who truly evaluates symptoms along with individual history. Or in other words, the problem isn't necessarily where the symptom erupts. You clearly embody that in your practice! Also- you're inspiring someone like me, at 44yrs old, to learn and possibly seek training in the future. I think I'll start with one of your books... should I enroll in professional training, I know it will be a gem of a resource ♡

I don’t know as I don’t know why you have gas. There are many points, it’s easier to go see a qualified practitioner in your area to guide you to figure it out 🥰
Can you share any of your favorite cases with using spleen 1 for eating disorders? What the outcome was? Do you do that point with every treatment until the patient says there’s been a change?

@@chreif it depends on each patient. If the patient is very weak & deficient, the Qi of the point will be small so you need to look for the sensation quite precisely. If a patient is excess then each point will have more Qi & be bigger 🥰

You are correct that is there is heavy bleeding it can be the spleen not holding the blood within the blood vessels or it can be due to excess heat. Prick to bleed SP 1 is to stop the acute bleeding. But then you can look at the pattern (SP deficiency or Blood Heat) and treat it accordingly to prevent the bleeding from reoccurring 🙏🥰 I hope that makes sense.

What's spleen points can be beneficial for abdominal swelling (ascytis I believe its called?). Am only using general acupressure for my mom who recently has got this n is not eating as feels upset after having anything..even juice..thanks 🙏

Gooooood Morning Clara. Please can you explain how come accupunture has so many points that it is guzzling to choose. Example a person has lung issue as per Tcm there are 11lung points 😫 how to choose which lung point to choose. It's same with all the organs. Can we chose a single point to treat any patient. Except in Auricular Therapy there is only one individual point and we treat that points. Please help us to understand. 🙏🥀🙏

We first do a TCM diagnosis, fo example is someone has Asthma, it can be due to Lung Yin deficiency then we can pick the points to nourish Lung Yin and address the asthma symptoms. 11 lung points have all different functions and applications 🙏

If you're taking questions I have one for you: what is your stance on tonifying and reducing points? For example, when i think dampness I consider Spleen 9, but would it be best to reduce that point because someone's damp is excessive or tonify the point to 'empower'/'activate' its damp clearing ability?

I’ve used it a few times and yes it was quite successful but with counselling and it took a few weeks 🌸

Because some are special point like He-Sea points or Ghost point so you always chose the strongest one which is a special point 🙏🥰

To stop heavy menstrual bleeding,i use K3 and CV 1, alternative days ,it gives excellent results.You may try this and give your valuable feedback

Please can you explain how come accupunture has so many points that it is guzzling to choose.
Example a person has lung issue as per Tcm there are 11lung points 😫 how to choose which lung point to choose.
It's same with all the organs.
Can we chose a single point to treat any patient.
Except in Auricular Therapy there is only one individual point and we treat that points.
Please help us to understand.

We first do a TCM diagnosis, fo example is someone has Asthma, it can be due to Lung Yin deficiency then we can pick the points to nourish Lung Yin and address the asthma symptoms. 11 lung points have all different functions and applications 🙏

If you're taking questions I have one for you: what is your stance on tonifying and reducing points? For example, when i think dampness I consider Spleen 9, but would it be best to reduce that point because someone's damp is excessive or tonify the point to 'empower'/'activate' its damp clearing ability?

TCM doesn’t work that way, we treat the person as a whole, not the disorder. We look at the root cause & address it! We look at the tongue, observe the skin, eyes, hair...we take the pulse, ask questions on sleep, digestion, diet, immune system...and then we make a TCM diagnosis and create a treatment plan accordingly 🙏
