If they can rehabilitate cyberpsychos and turn them into functioning human beings again, at least for the sake of hunting cyberpsychos, does that mean that the maxtac department actually have a cure for cyberpsychosis?
Cyberpsychosis can by lore be cured to some extent, you are basically taken to doctors where they completely restart your brain or well reset you. They give you back "organic" parts back and then work on you until you get better. Of course it doesnt apply to everyone, but it can be done. Its also not necessarily done by NCDP, you have clinics for that.
It's less of a cure and more of a stabilizing process. If the individual takes well to the treatment then they can be brought back from beyond the edge but that doesn't automatically fix the damage done to their psyche from becoming a cyberpsycho. It's very likely you'd still be incredibly anti-social and always have the chance to relapse. Plus, you could just be someone like Melissa Rory where they just took her and gave her a legal way to butcher people. In return, all she has to do is toe the line.
In the lore chrome book and the tabletop game, MaxTac alongside Adam Smasher and couple of other characters is an instant GG for you, so better pray to Lilith and Alt for the next game it doesnt happen hahahah
All I know is, my record against max tax ( this playthrough) is 8 minutes. It was a grenades, Igla and gorilla arms build. I’m only at street cred 20 so my gear isn’t great, but a shotgun build is far more op than given credit for.
I found MaxTac intriguing, cool, and scary ever since the 2013 teaser showing them fighting and arresting the cyberpsycho Melissa Rory. It's great that they're becoming a more important part of the game with the police system in 2.0. What are the chances that they'll also appear in main or side story quests in Phantom Liberty?
Yeah, cool that storyline continued from the teaser to the game. When it comes to new quests though we shall see, they haven't talked anything about it. I also personally doubt we will see more of them quest wise
i got the scalpel katana from a side gig and man staneless steel black look so clean it looks just like the blade color of my real life wilderness knife from qsp.

Yeah surely they could but you'd probally have to be a high ranking corpo or celebrity because its all about the eddies in this world.
