Y'know in 0:16 the "Hey sister, know the water's sweet but blood is thicker?" the quote we use is blood (familial bond) is thicker than water (friends and lovers), but the actual quote is "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb", which means the covenant, which is an agreement or a promise (loyalty) is more important than the sentimental bond of family. So when it plays in Hela's part it means that her anger and her vow to take her father's place is stronger than her sentiment towards her blood (the odinsons), which makes the whole song darker.
