We had a sampler from the pike place chowder so that we could try a lot of different flavors

What was the egg substitute they used in the Thai noodle dish?

So interesting that Kati Portland is vegetarian serving eggs on some dishes and completely vegan in Seattle! I was worried when I saw the dish with egg and yours and I realized they are slightly different in each city! My favorite restaurant!

      @@VeganWithAPassport it’s amazing!! A
It’s always consistently good and I’ve never ordered anything I don’t love. 😍😍

When you order supreme nachos with a lot of wet ingredients on top like that you can't expect the chips underneath to remain crunchy since the weight of all the wet ingredients sitting on top of them will make even the best chip soggy. If you ever order nachos like that in the future just request, they put the nachos on the side that way they'll remain crunchy for you. :)

Thank you 🙏🏿, I had a feeling that was the issue 🫣

If the cinnamon rolls had mixed reviews why didn't you try them? We could use your input on those

Good question! I only had so much time there and therefore I wanted to eat foods I more likely would enjoy (if the dish was unique then I would've tried even with mixed opinions, but not plain cinnamon rolls 🫣). In cities where I'm able to spend long periods of time, then I'm more likely to try foods with mixed reviews if I'm craving it (or if there's a lack of options of course). 😊

Taste test the food on camera.

I decided against doing that for two reasons:
      1) I prefer filming from a 3rd person perspective/b-roll
      2) This will a lot of times have to be voiced over anyway as restaurants play music in restaurants (which can result in a copyright strike) or the restaurant is too loud to talk to the camera without much noise interference
