I just spent a week in the Netherlands, with time in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam. I ate all vegan food and only made it to one of the restaurants (Soil) on this list. I think that shows how prevalent great vegan food is there! I wish I had this list while I was there. Guess I’ll just have to go back! 😊

Also, what time of year is best if I want to avoid a zillion tourists, but not in the middle of rainy season (or burning season). I live in Portland partly because it is so vegan friendly. I cant wait for all cities to catch up. Vegan food done well can be enjoyed by everyone.

Loved this video! I hope to ride Amtrak somewhere long distance and hope there will be enough vegan options lol but I’ll definitely bring plenty of snacks as well when I go.

When you order supreme nachos with a lot of wet ingredients on top like that you can't expect the chips underneath to remain crunchy since the weight of all the wet ingredients sitting on top of them will make even the best chip soggy. If you ever order nachos like that in the future just request, they put the nachos on the side that way they'll remain crunchy for you. :)

I've been to Istanbul a few times, but I wasn't vegan then. Now I really have to go back. Great city, people are so friendly and there are cats everywhere haha😄 I love Manti, dumplings come in all shapes and sizes all over the world. Yes, Cigköfte is so delicious, here in Germany they are also popular alongside Döner. 😊 we have also planted döner kebab shop here in Stuttgart.
