      @@ConnollyCove I was quite impressed with the Monaghan Museum. It has great exhibits about the interesting history there. Being American, I find the fight against London/English control so meaningful.

    i lived here for a couple of years when i was pretty young, used to hang out at the round tower with my friends, weird seeing it again lol

      It'sMe ! My great-great Grandfather was born in Clones in 1841 to James and Sally Bell they lived on Pound Hill. I have been through Clones on a bus tour of Ireland in 1996, unfortunately the bus did not stop there but I was very happy to have at least seen where he was born.

    Clones is a very historic town. Sadly its kind of lost its mojo in recent years.
