My daughter has always said that about me, her mom. We are best friends. It is a very special feeling and I know people say you aren't supposed to be their friends, you are suppose to be the parent. I've always thought, what makes me right and them wrong. So, that is how I live my life. Parents aren't always right. Each kid is different and there isn't a "one mold fits all." I told them, whatever they do, decisions they make, they have to live thru the consequences of their actions. It will affect their life, not mine. I have four children. They are all grown and doing well.

All the people commenting about “such a great family, beautiful, classy, raised well etc..”, well that is true, but having a ton of money, which he made on his own, does help a great deal with all those beautiful kids, being classy, trumpet lessons, etc. Harry stated, “teaching our kids about self worth is what we try to do”, well try doing that without the money, your self worth may have a different meaning. All this talent they spoke of, wouldn’t be present without that money. The daughter that is now a model and fashion designer, she didn’t get to that level without her father, period. There are women working at Starbucks that are more beautiful than that woman. The Connick name has opened doors for his children, just like the other celebs and their families. Just stating the facts people.
I disagree with you. Teaching kids self worth requires no money at all. I have self worth and was raised by a single father. To have values, you don’t need money to teach you anything. I think they’ve done a great job raising their kids. So many celebrities have broken families because of fame. Harry is the opposite. Also, Kate, is absolutely stunning!! I’m a fashion photographer and I know a great face and bone structures when I see one.
