Learning to change nappy of newborn baby.

Proper technique of changing nappy is very important. Point to note.
1. Try to use cotton cloth nappy as much as possible.
2. If using diapers try to change them at 3-4 hours interval.
3. While cleaning use cotton soaked in clean water. Avoid using wipes as they usually contains some soaps while causes irritation to baby skin.
4. While cleaning always stroke from genital area to anal area, never reverse the direction. It helps in preventing urinary tract infections particularly in girls.
5. Always keep the cord outside the nappy.
6. Always wash your hands before and after changing the nappy.
