I think the issue with the open money vids is that most people can't relate. Most of them are millionaires. It would be nice to see people that are more "average" I guess. People that are still on their journey :).

Erin don't ever get discouraged about your channel. You provide excellent analysis of economic issues and are genuinely trying to educate your audience. We appreciate everything you do. Remember most of those other channels you're comparing yourself to have been around a lot longer and are probably more established. You're obviously getting there, so just be patient!

Erin don’t underestimate the charm of the presenter; you have a warm and open style that is addictive. Your candor is admirable and I watch you to get tips on enhancing what I already have in place. Your members are not you😊 good luck!

"Open Money" series; I compare myself to those sharing their story each time I watch one of these videos. It makes me feel a little depressed that I don't see myself being as successful as these wonderful people. Try to focus more on what obstacles were overcome and clearly show what they did to successfully overcome them. That way the audience can learn from their experience. This should be a video series of examples and advice on overcoming many of life's financial challenges.

My 2 cents on the open money: I have seen 3-4 and like the idea, but there are 2 things that drag the interest down IMO:

Don't get discouraged. Your content is excellent and your commitment to transparency is wonderful. I recommend your channel to young people especially.

One thing that really keeps me watching your videos is you never use misleading "click bait" titles. You have competitors who might get more views, but it's often times due to how they reel people into watching their useless garbage.

Erin, I watch most of your content, but not much of the Open Money. A little too long and some of the guests aren’t as strong on video as you.

    1. I love the open money series, shame on those not watching. It helps me be more aspirational. 2. You keep making videos I’ll keep watching 3. Comparison is the thief of joy. Keep plugging and stop looking around. You’ll get to your goals.

Another great video. Always have been curious as to the economics of TH-cam. Remember comparison is the thief of joy. Keep up the great content.

Please don't be discouraged, I enjoy your videos and look forward to them each week. I actually prefer your videos to some of the larger and more well known TH-camrs who create videos on finance as their videos seem to get redundant.

Erin most of your videos are fabulous for the younger investors, you tell them exactly what goals to go after and how to do it. Just going by the reactions of my three boys 22, 25, and 30 they say they checked it out but I can't see if they subscribe and watch on a regular basis. It's like their girlfriends (and the 30-year-olds wife) need to tell them to watch it and not Dad!

I love the Open Money videos, but I agree with one of the comments below - my favorites are the ones who are still fairly new to investing and not already retired or millionaires because it's more motivating for me. That said, I've still watched every one and learned something new and would absolutely continue watching them! Also love the new furniture and your hair! 😉

I've started every Open Money video but haven't finished any. For me, their pace is too slow, they are too long, and the stories haven't contained actionable content. But I'll continue watching the usual Erin Talks series. Good luck in 2023!

Erin... you are fantastic and genuine and so knowledgeable! Keep up the great work. I think your open money series is worth keeping for sure (of course, I would say that!). I hope those who feel like they can't relate to some people's stories reach out to you and share their story... because really you don't have much control over who it is that's offering to join you. So perhaps at the end of your episode, ask for it. Encourage those who feel like maybe they aren't savings heros or personal finance machines to join you and talk about their experiences!
