Hi Darren, I did a helicopter flight over Manhattan in 2000, saw the twin towers from above, now a very special memory. Also did the Grand Canyon by helicopter, both fantastic but obviously very different!

HI Darren Well what a great experience that was shame it was all hazy but you got plenty of fresh air to keep you cool.
Just think if you had to land on one of those high apartment block and again what a view you would get.
Skyline was amazing even though it was hazy. You are braver than I am, no way would I go in a helicopter let alone with the doors off. Glad you enjoyed it

I’ll be looking for your video. Im curious if you’re talking about banana pudding from magnolia bakery. In the south, we grew up with banana pudding and it been around forever. Seems like magnolia bakery led non southerners to believe they’ve rebuilt the wheel. 🤦♀️
Now done a couple of Helicopter flights including NY but never with No Doors

The first time I went in a helicopter was down the Grand Canyon, that was absolutely brilliant. I would love to do it again. As for no doors, I don’t know!
Great stuff DJ my first hele ride was in Malta in an old Russian Military helicopter it had more oil on the outside of the fuselage than in the engine

That whirligig actually has a hot dog capacitor it runs on dj, they probably come from the street hot dog vendors because it's cheaper to run mucca, STREET HOT DOGS are the best.xx

Darren, I would never go on a helicopter again!
Back in the 80’s I went on a bus tour up to Niagara Falls.
On the way they stopped for helicopter rides.
When ur young u don’t fear anything.
My brother and I decided to take the ride.
My husband, mother , sister and niece stayed on the ground.
We must of been crazy!
We went on an old “Whirlybird” helicopter!
Only the pilot my brother and I could fit in the helicopter.
It was kind of windy that day.
Up we went!
Jesus!!
Off we flew over Niagara Falls so high in the sky!
Pilot had a hard time controlling the helicopter holding on to the stick to keep it level.
I thought for sure we were going to crash!
Of course, we made it back and never so glad to touch the earth under my feet!
Never again!

Your best NYC video yet, ,Darren., Wonderful, majestic views.. Even though there was only the sound of the helicopter rotar roaring there was loads of atmosphere.
You know you could have taken a helicopter to JFK from the city. It's only a 10 minute ride and when you arrive at the airport, they put you in a limo and take you straight to your terminal. They operate out both the East side and West side heliports in the city. You can usually find a Groupon or other discount making it just slightly more expensive than a cab. If you ever watch Noel Philips travel channel on TH-cam, he's done it before. If I didn't already live only 20 minutes from both JFK and LaGuardia, I would do it myself.

Fabulous DJ. You are officially part of the A Team. That is truly one amazing ride. Just ponder the thought of combining your food and open helicopter ride same time.
It would be rude not to even without doors. I did it the first time I went and my son did it when he was there, he was 13 and flew there with my cousin who was living there at the time. He went on a speedboat along the Hudson and all the main sightseeing places. When I picked him up from Heathrow I asked him what his favourite part was. He said it was seeing where Thierry Henry’s apartment was and watching The New York Red Bulls play 😂😂 and yes he’s a Gooner.

Darren, great I've done helicopter flying in Cyprus we did aerobatics,pity yours is a misty hazy day, tether your camera next time in a taxi?.was your rip off taxi more than your helicopter flight.i wished you'd have relayed some atmospheric music over the top,it brought back memories of nam!.apart from that not bad for a novice, next time dangle those feet,you ought to see whats it like jumping out of a plane parachuting i signed a waiver saying i was 15stone 10lbs,i lied i was 2 stone heavier,you only live once DJ..

Darren, got to understand that if God wanted me to fly I'd be covered in feathers ( beautiful plumage 🦜) The weather was against you maybe a night flight would have been better 🌃🌉🌙.
