This planter provides all their basic needs: food, water, and shelter 🐝
Plant your favorite mix of pollinator attracting plants.
For ours we used:
Cuphea Vermillionaire
Scabiosa
Lantana
Nicotiana
Try to use a 20” or larger pot for your base. This will give your plants, water source, and pollinators plenty of room
Adding a fountain is 💯 NOT necessary. However, We know some are very concerned with mosquitoes. This will keep the water moving and discourage any mosquito activity.
We have been placing pollinator waterer throughout our yards for YEARS though with no mosquito problems. At our homes in NC and FL, the water will evaporate almost daily.

Make filling your pollinator station with water part of your daily activity
Don’t forget to add rocks that stick out of the water! This will give bees and butterflies a place to safely land and drink
