I saw people asking how to work it on windows but with tweaking and experimenting I found using audacity with the VCA works the best, there’s gonna be an option for line 1 audio recording and then you get to mixing!

No but the principles are the same, use a virtual audio cable to route your internal audio to a recording app OR use something to record the output of your gear

Hi Phil. Great tip as always, however, when I clicked on 'make audio available to other apps' I get a message stating 'this feature can't be used without Serato Virtual Audio. Would you like to install now'. I run the installation but it keeps failing. It then states to contact the software manufacturer which I've done, but wondered if you had any ideas? I am running Sonama 14.4.1. Cheers, J
No idea why you're having that issue, sorry. Serato Virtual Audio is doing the same thing as an app like VB Cable, Black Hole or Loopback does ie routing the audio internally, so you could try one of those instead.

Hey Phil, really hoping you can help me with this. First off thanks for the tip. It seemed to help record audio files.. BUT.. Problem is, once I play back these recorded audio files on my stereo monitors, car stereo or anything really, audio is only playing through right speaker. Any idea why and/or how I can solve this issue? When I import the file to convert to mono in Logic, Logic detects the file as ‘Surround’ and when I hit play in Logic there is no playback or sound although I can see the audio playback through the channel meter..
