    For people saying, “you don’t need a rebounder”: This is a rebounder channel! We’re having fun! Go jump on concrete if that feels better for you. It’s inspiring and motivating to hear that we can bounce gently and get some benefit without making ourselves miserable on unforgiving surfaces.

    Thank you for this talk. I’ve been rebounding with Earth & Owl since July 2024 (about 5 months). I had very hooded eyes to the point where my vision was obstructed and I considered surgery. After a week or so, that problem started to go away and now there is no puffing around my eyes (lymph drainage, in my opinion) and the area is nice and smooth. So many other great benefits too 👍

      Wow! That's great! Many people notice very similar results...reduced puffiness. Rebounding is such a powerful exercise!

    I love my rebounder! I got it a few years ago, when hip & knee arthritis meant I could no longer jog, and I became addicted to my morning bounce. It was a low impact form of exercise I could do at home. Now almost 5 weeks out from my second hip replacement, and just about ready to get back on my rebounder. Very gently... my physiotherapist had conniptions when I mentioned getting back on the rebounder so early, for the first hip op last January!

      So glad rebounding has been helpful through the challenges!! What a fun form of exercise. I'd be itching to get going again too, but be sure and take care as you go! Your rebounder will be there when you're all healed up!

      @@EarthOwl Well, I managed it! Keeping it very, very gentle, just the health bounce and my usual twist for the higher intensity segments, keeping both feet in contact with the rebounder throughout. I really need to get the lymph flowing again, still have some swelling from the surgery, so I'll stick to this for another few weeks, then I am looking forward to learning some different moves!
      (The riskiest part is stepping on and off, but I use support and am very careful.)

    I gotta add that rebound workouts are FUN!! And your videos are easy to follow and well guided. I've watched other rebound vids and they don't show you how to properly rebound or how to keep the proper form on the rebounder. I love my rebounder and your videos! Thank you so much for your hard work and for being a super coach!! :) and hello from Canada ;)

    If someone (me... a beginner) is committed to gradually working up to 30 minutes per day on the rebounder....... Once I get to 30 minutes per day.... is it better for the lymph system or for increasing bone density or cardio or any/all health improvements.... to do the 30 minutes in one session per day or breaking it up into a few sessions? i.e. One 30 min session? or two 15 minute sessions? or three 10 minutes sessions? I have seen some people on TH-cam who do 2 minutes every hour throughout the day. I guess the main questions are: how many minutes does it take to fully activate the flow of lymph fluid? And how long does the lymph fluid keep flowing after a rebounding session? That would have great bearing on the first question of one session or multiple sessions? Thanks in advance. Love your channel....

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Hi there and thanks!! You only need a few minutes to activate your lymphatic system. If you're main goal is lymph drainage, you don't have to worry about duration. Aim for a few minutes a few times a day. If your goal is cardiovascular health, then I'd think about mixing it up with both steady state cardio and hiit. This will increase your endurance as well as improve heart health. Hope this helps!

    I hadn’t thought what might be happening with my lymphatic system in relation to my disability, but I can’t imagine that it’s anything good. Thank you for the information!

    Hi, there Earth@ Owl! 1.Very few of such trampoline support people over 90-100kg so, which is the alternative for it? 2. I prefer youtube due to the speed and length of the tutorials which are more understandable and easy to follow. Insta gives me dizziness and creates lack of patient besides its shortness...Thanks for sharing your tips in respect to the rebounding!

    I heard you mention the vibrating plate for lymph drainage. I just ordered a 48" trampoline (supposed to arrive before the new year) How should I combine the vibrating plate and the rebounder? I have not used my vibrating plate for a while because it caused me pain in ovaries somehow, but very interested in trying again and combine with trampoline. How long of each daily? Thanks

    Do we get the same effects from simply jumping or doing jumping jacks?

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      What effects are you trying to achieve? If it's lymphatic drainage, then any rebounding is going to help activate your lymphatic system. Remember...it's about muscle contraction!

    • @peterpiper5300
      @peterpiper5300 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @EarthOwl just to make this clear, we don't need a rebounder device /trampoline to get the lymphatic drainage effect? The act of jumping or jumping jacks will also have the same effect as long as muscle is contracted? Is this correct?

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@peterpiper5300 Yes, as I mention in the video, all exercise promotes fluid flow in your body; however rebounding tends to be one of the most efficient ways. Many people experience results rebounding that they couldn't achieve through other means. Case in point: one of my participants after only one session rebounding was able to slip on shoes she hadn't worn in two years due to the reduction in puffiness/inflammation. You can definitely support your lymphatic system with other things with several examples given in the video. Even standing on the ground and doing some bouncing calf raises is great!

      I personally can’t do jumping jacks due to knee and back injuries along with being overweight at the moment. But I can rebound - the health bounce is a perfect way to start my day (plus it’s so fun!) and I’m gradually increasing my time and abilities on it. I’m getting my cardio in little by little and I can feel my legs/knees getting stronger over time.
