I love November because it marks the beginning of my slowest slow life season. During spring, summer, and early fall I spend a lot of time outdoors. But in late fall and winter, when it's dark outside, I prefer to stay within the safety and coziness of my little home. November is also the beginning of my reading season. During the summer, I had bought many books (mostly classics) from thrift stores. Next spring, after I've read them all, I will donate them back to the thrift store, and only keep a few most favorite ones. And I'll start my hunt for new books to read the following winter.
Winter is my reading season, too. I have two so far: The Poet of Tolstoy Park, and Walden, which I have never got round to reading for some strange reason. I used to do a video before Christmas with my Christmas reads. The last one I did was, Fahrenheit 451 and Blue Highways, both of which I’ve read multiple times.
