- Hello friends! Come along with me for a behind-the-scenes look as a small business owner who is celebrating 10 years as an Etsy Seller and 12 years selling at markets. Join me as I start market prepping for my upcoming market on June 2nd. This is the first market I've done during summer in a long time. I usually stick with fall markets to sell my Character Hats, but I will be selling my new love of plushies, and I can't wait.

Life happens. As a fellow mama I understand it so well! Thank you for being so real I love your videos not just for the fantastic crocheting 🧶 but for the glimpses of your life that remind me I’m not alone❣️😊
We are never alone. I am just like everyone else, trying to survive one day at a time juggling this crazy mom work life. Thank you so much for your support and for watching! Much love to you!
Depe breaths, I totally get where you are in your life and things going on. Thinking about you. Your show will be what it is.... You are one person. If you have enough to make your booth not look completely bare, the rest is just a bonus ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the warm thoughts. I appreciate you. Much love!

You have done a great job getting things made when you have so much going on. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Bless you for sharing your life and love of of crochet. Love watching your videos. I clicked on your video because i am from Ohio and so glad I did. ❤
Thank you so much! Welcome my fellow buckeye! Thank you for spending some of your time with me. I appreciate your commenting. Have a great day!
Congrats to your daughter and prayers for you and your family and your step dad. Sending hugs to you!!!
Thank you so much for your love and support! Hugs received!
Crocheting keeps me sane too. I love watching your video ❤
For sure! Thank you so much for watching my channel and I really appreciate the support! Much love!
Everything looks fabulous, the ducks are always my favourites
Thank you so much. I do love the ducks. They are fun to make! Much love!!
You have been so busy! So many beautiful makes for your market.❤ Can’t wait to hear how it goes. Thinking of you and your family as you navigate this journey with your Stepdad. I’m a speech pathologist in a nursing home with a lot of experience treating patients with Parkinson’s. It’s a cruel disease and it’s extremely difficult to be the caregiver as the disease progresses. Much love to you and your Mom.❤️
Thank you so much! I appreciate your love and support. Parkinson's is being cruel and it is very hard to witness. Not just for my stepdad, but watching my Mom go thru it is just as hard. Much love to you!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family family💜
Thank you so so much! ❤️
Your nails look amazing and they matched the pop you were showing off 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much. They do match, lol. I appreciate your support. Have a great day!
Family and life take priority ❤️ take a break when you need it 😊 looks like you have plenty of inventory for a market 😉 good luck 👍
Yes, absolutely! Although, it's not in my nature to break from crochet. It is my therapy, the thing that brings me peace and calms all the noise, especially when life is stressful. Thank you for your support!
Sending you and your family prayers and hugs.
Thank you so much for your love and support.
I’m so looking forward to your market vlog. Life happens and I appreciate you being real about it. Hope your stepdad is doing better, but I believe things happen the way they are supposed to. Glad crochet is a good outlet for you. Love seeing your makes and I’ve even tried some embroidered eyes and really like them.
My market vlog is in the works, it happened. I will say it was soggy, lol. My stepdad is at home where he wants to be and resting. Thank you so much for your support! Much love to you!
Sending prayers for you and your family. I would love the pattern for the tiny birds you are trying to create swings for. They are adorable.
Thank you so much! The pattern is by KnotsbyJak on Etsy. The Mini Flockers. Much love to you!
I look forward to your videos. You have inspired me to do more. I love crocheting. I want to do markets. I get so many good ideas from you.
Thank you so much for watching. I wish you the best. You should def do a market. Start small with a local church, ect. Much love to you!
I love your videos! I also crochet and just love seeing what you make. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much. It's fun to share something I am so passionate about!
Love to you and your family✨ from England UK
Thank you so much! It's so crazy to reach you in the UK. I love that. Thank you for making me smile!
Love when I log onto the ‘tube & see you have posted! Hang in there, sister. You said it, the ups & downs INDEED. It’s a roller coaster on a roller coaster! I’m looking forward to chatting with you, for sure! I hope I can help in some way! This community is so amazing, isn’t it? I’m on medical leave right now - I won’t TMI you too much, lol, but the culmination SHOULD be a surgery & handful of days in the hospital at the end of June. Afterwards, I’ll be around as I’m unable to travel or anything for the near future. Just holler whenever’s good & I’ll shoot you my number so we can text or email/whatnot.
It’s so funny how family’s are combined; my mom likes to tell (everyone, ha!) folks how she has “2 daughters, 9 grandsons, and 3 great grandsons & can’t get a girl”! So funny 😂
I’m so so SO glad your Abby is * knock on wood * doing so well!!!! It’s one thing for us to be ill, but watching our children; you KNOW. THE. WORST. THING. EVER. EV. ER. oof.
Sending hugs to you ☺️🫶🏻🧶🧡
I look forward to getting to know you. Best of luck to you with your surgery and recovery. Wow, love your big family and all of those boys sounds so fun. What a blessing!! It is funny though no girls, ha. Abby being sick really changed me in my soul. I was lost during those dark times. You are right! It was the WORST. THING. EVER. The one positive was my small business. I could literally take my work with me and work on things whenever or wherever I could. So, my business has been a blessing in so many ways. I can't wait to work with you and start getting my patterns out there. I have Abby's grad party this weekend. Then I'm hoping life is a little bit quieter for a minute, lol. Here's to your speedy recovery. Hugs to you!
A great video as always. The snakes all good good.
Thank you! I do love the snakes. I'm obsessed with making them.
Prayers to you and your family! I hope you have a fabulous market this weekend and I hope that it brings you some joy in these hard times. 😊 I look forward to your uploads as it feels like I’m hanging out and crocheting with a friend. Happy market weekend!!
You are so sweet. I love making new friends, especially friends who like to talk crochet, lol. Thank you so much for your support. I appreciate you more than you know.
Thanks fir the triple bobble tip👏😊👌
I'm glad you like it! Thank you so much for watching my channel and for your support. Happy Crocheting!
All your items look great!! I always learn little tricks every one of your videos! Never thought to do the triple bobble 😊
Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment so much. It's nice to know you benefit from my video. This makes me smile. Much love to you!
I am really impressed by all the makes you will have for the market, and I love the majority of them.
There is no comparison when it comes to eyes, - of course your embroidered eyes are much much nicer.
I also love the dinosaurs, - they are beyond cute, - the same with the Dollys, AND the bees. I am kind of "terrified" of snakes, but I really love that colorful yarn on them. Not as fond of the same yarn for those small animals you showed in the beginning. The cow though, and many, many more of your stuff is just adorable. Good luck with the market this weekend, - can´t wait to hear (and see) from that. ❤
Thank you so much Linda. I'm not a huge fan of actual snakes, but I love making these plushies. Thank you so much for always watching and commenting. You are the best.
@@thecozybuckeye Of course 🙂. I really enjoy your videos, the "vibe", your colorful room, always showing beautiful plushies.
Love the nails so much, but your definition of short is very different to mine. 😂
LOL! Short for acrylic nails? I tried long nails though and it was horrible.
❤
Sending you a hug 🫂...
Life. Change.Love.
Just take a deep breath & just be.

Thank you 😊
I crochet for peace. Last year almost killed me. First my daughter's boyfriend got very ill and had a liver transplant. So that was bad then right before his surgery my daughter had been pretty ill with what we thought was the flu. Wrong , her lungs collapse and she was in the intensive care on a respirator for 10 Days. Why it almost killed me wasi have a 13 year old grandson and it was so very hard seeing him suffer. So yes life is very hard but thank God things do get better. Take care
I am so sorry. That sounds horribly traumatic for the whole family. I understand what it feels like when your child is desperately sick. 3 years ago my daughter had been sick for over a year going back & forth to drs before she was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. She missed 186 days of school her sophomore year. It was so hard. We were in & out of the hospital before she finally had surgery. She had many complications & was homeschooled her Junior year. She was able to go back to school her senior year. She’s been in remission and is doing so well. She recently graduated & we are so thankful. At one point I wasn’t sure if that would happen. She has an auto immune disease so she gets sick a lot, but she is still doing well. I really appreciate you sharing your family’s story. I hope everyone has recovered & doing well, even your grandson. Much love to you.
@@thecozybuckeye lol after telling you my story I forgot to tell you that your handwork is amazing. I plan on watching more of your podcasts. I am 71 and for years I have been making winter items for a food pantry and some of the kids in my neighborhood. ..I have had people tell me that I should sell my items and I tried once. A nurse from my doctor office asked if I could make her a shawl after seeing the one I gave my doctor. Make her two to choose from and she quit and I got stiff but my doctor sent me a gift card. . Look, I will keep your daughter in my thoughts along with the rest of your family. Take care
Hi there can you show us what key chains you use . So i can see them please . Beautiful crochet work
Yes, I can, however I did get them from Temu. I think they are in my next video prepping for my market so stay tuned.
Our thoughts and prayer are with you and your family. I have a question about the snakes you are making. I took a look at the pattern you are using and you mentioned that you switched to half double crochet from row 12 on. Did you do the total 78 rows on your snakes or just eyeball it? I started one last night and was thinking it probably only needs to be half of that if using half double stitches, right?
Thank you so much! Yes, I think mine have a total of around 45 rounds. I love the 🐍!
