i like scorpion a lot, not necessarily for shao though. He gives cool and versatile combo extensions, he provides an overhead (pretty mediocre but wtv), and he can pull you backwards as a get off me.

Theirs 20 assists that are a Cyrax. Some Kameos need some rework, make Laos hat cooldown longer, make the Cyrax assist cost your whole gauge. Don't let Sonya be the standard because shes boring and unthreatening.

Btw saw a guy use the axe retrieval swing as a whiff punish because shao teleports back to it really quick and gives true punish, which could then combo into Sonya now that you showed that
Let me just throw some thought. I never find myself in situation for df1 axe slash. And that's unfortunate cause move is good, +3 and EX armor. I don't think it would be overpowered to allow to use this move from any place of arena. You already wanna stay axless but with that change this move can act like tradeoff, axless preasure and mix for quick armored plus on block mid. And please, Netherrealm, make f1 hit mid. Can even change some of f122 hits go high, it will still be amazing change. It will give Shao choice beetwen short reaching, confirmable 10 frames f1 and advancing 14 frames b1
F1 will never be mid. That doesn't fit the developer intention. (Play a few other characters, you'll see the pattern that's been applied to mids in this game). Df1 axeless from anywhere on screen is insane. Armored, plus 3, solo while they have to guess safe, launching, axeless options? That's crazy for him to have.
to clarify, i meant use df1 from anywere only while axless(look at it kinda like replacment for usless df4 axe recall). And this is not something crazy to have. You give up all safe mix and plus frames from axless butons just for +3 on block that not even puts you up close for preasure . And you can't safely cancel in df1 on block, every axless poke, button, string~df1 have gaps for armor counter About mid attacks pattern. In game there Jonhy Cage exists you CANNOT compete with 14 and 26 frame mids. My suggestions are completle fair. Shao remains garbage in MK11 and i do not want him to be around B and C tier@@d4wtvr
Anyone know why the game lags like crazy when I play shao? Anytime I take shao online the game starts lagging like mad. I switch to a different character and the game stops lagging. I’ve tested this in multiple occasions and shao is causing major lag. Anyone experiencing this and know why this happens?

Great video. You probably knew this already, but you can also use square to combo from the axe pickup swipe midscreen. It's pretty tight tho.

Kung Lao kameo is pretty much the answer but Sub Zero works really well with Shao as well. His freeze assist lets you get a free df1 buff mid kombo

I sometimes do that after slamming axe, going for 224 and d1 Ex Df1. Whole sequence is guaranteed
