Something I really respect about Super is that he actually isn’t afraid to post his losses and admit when his opponent is outplaying him.
that's what i like too, he's super humble about the game while he's playing but he also uses the cheese if he needs too 😂
It honestly has made me feel good to lose because seeing him admit someone is better is true and it’s a realization that yeah I’m not great.

I just got the kombat league skin for him and I’m so happy. That was the only thing I wanted from this season. I already got his axe from the god rank.

@@blruc I’m so trash. It’s been a struggle. I’ve been using shao and Lao so the only reason I’m winning is that I’m just mixing the crap out of everyone. You don’t need skill if it’s a 50/50. Also his armored move is really good because it anti airs and can start combos.

5:03 Is one of the reasons why I use Motaro as the asisst for Shao. If you press R1 or RB during the start of your fatal blow, Motaro will do the initiating hit for you. Motato's is a lot faster then Shao's and way more lenient to combo into. Combo Super did would have worked with Motaro.
I know, one of the biggest things that Shao sucks at is he can't combo into fatal blow from most things. But in my opinion it's not worth giving up all the combo extensions you can do with Sonya (or in my case Scorpion) just for that. I only swap to Sub Zero kameo when I'm getting zoned, because he has 0 anti zoning tools

@@DontMindMe45243 ive been using motaro for anti zoning, his reflect is honestly amazing when u know ur opponents just gonna spam projectiles cuz u can hold it too
He can be pretty intimidating to come up against, and he can be pretty relentless, which feels pretty on-character for him!
I’m a Shao main and If you want to combo the super with Shao you can do the launcher and do stand 2 into super. But if you’re using Motaro you can do 2,2,4 and then super and mash R1 (kameo). Motaro will attack instead of you and depending how much gravity you used it will hit most of the times
I'm having a blast with Lei Mei right now. With scorpion cameo. So many options with them together.

Papa Shao doing his thing like always !! Man sektor has been main kameo but Super makes me want to learn other Kameos for the combos
Super,you can do F1,2,2 into Down forward 4, immediately then hammer is down do a Back 3,2 for a pop up combo then end it with his command grab.
The timing on that is tight😅 that’s why I try to avoid that one but it is good combo if ya land it 😂

@@imdikonps4396 not al all, he's one of the best in the word. If I were him, I would enjoy a good challenge, not just easy victories, that's the point of competition. The guy gets frustrated pretty easy, even when he can't do a combo or misses a move. But it's ok, it's part of his charisma.
i just got into mk during this game fr so idk what i’m talking about but for some reason i was drawn to shao from the jump idk what it is bc it seems like he has a lot of draw backs but his kombos just feel so good when done right

Eh, different strokes. I've always liked KI since the OG arcade release, but I also don't like having every other combo interrupted by something. Sometimes it's nice to just hit a 12-hit, 30-35% combo reliably when you see they can't break it.

Super should be using B1 a lot more for meaty. All Shao's other strings are high and back B1 and B12 are safe on block.

You can combo Shaos fatal from 1,2 and also with Motaro you can combo like most other fatal blows since he has a move that turns the fatal attack into a Motaro punch instead of the axe throw

You can really see in this video at what shao Khan is good at and what he is not and where he struggles Khans opponents can not be overly aggressive with him or do something u safe cause ifs gonna cost you a third of you health he has good footies if people don't do their jumps right but where he is weak he is weak no mids, opponents can duck his hights yes some of his stuff is safe but your getting a throw the most other was duck and tao square good low pokes get the best of him then most players make mistakes when they get inpatient also struggles with zoning but if you make one mistake on Khan and dnt have 3 bars it can me over fast Khan not being able to combo is overhead hurts thst means combos are coming from highs or wake up
