I love your Italian accent. How did you learn English so well? Was it in Italian schools? How many years have you been studying English?
    Adoro le tue lezioni. Grazie!

Grazie mille Ray! Sono contenta che ti piacciono le mie lezioni :) In Italy we study English at school but I actually learnt when I started practicing more and getting in touch with people from other Countries. I live in Ireland now so I can use English on a daily basis but I still can't get rid of my Italian accent!

@@AmbraConnexita You dont want to get rid of your Italian accent. It is beautiful. How many people compliment you on it every day?
I am going to have to move to Italy to become conversational, which I would love to do. I was there twice last year.
The author Jhumpa Lahiri won awards for her English language books. But after visiting Italy, she now only writes in Italian. Great book, In Other Words.

Thanks Ray :) moving to Italy will certainly help you to become fluent but I believe you can practice a language anywhere! Where in Italy have you been?

I found this very useful but agree it would be even more useful to know the gender of the words too. I also got a little confused by E' instead of È (I think) how common is it to put the accent to one side of the letter in written italian. I don't know if it is a youtube restriction but nobody seems to include il pene or la vagina 🤔

Please include the articles because they should not be left out when words are used in sentences. The also help with confirming the gender.

It will be useful to always mention the plural and gender. Thanks.

These kinds of lessons don't work. You say the word twice and then immediately move on to the next and there's no way, even an intelligent person can remember that. I don't even get the chance to pronunciate the word right, let alone learn it. Repetition and saying each word in a way that stands out would help people remember it better than just running over it like a robot. Just being honest.
