- While Peter battles Brock and Marko, Harry arrives to help him with his Green Goblin technology. Brock attempts to impale Peter with Harry's glider, but Harry jumps in and is impaled himself. Remembering the symbiote's weakness, Peter assembles a perimeter of metal pipes to create a sonic attack, weakening it and allowing Peter to separate Brock from the symbiote. He activates a pumpkin bomb from Harry's glider and throws it at the symbiote. However, Brock, who became addicted to the symbiote's influence, leaps into the symbiote in an attempt to save it, and is killed along with the symbiote.
Spider-Man: “This thing got anymore?!”

They are blind, empty hearth, didnt have soul, because 1 or 2 mistakes like horrible venom doesnt change how masterpiece this movie is.
They look on one perspective, didnt look to the other.
He should have survived in this movie and had died in the amazing Spider-Man 2.

Funny, since the first time I saw this in theaters I always felt the way spidey kills venom was essentially a Mortal Kombat Fatality

Instead we got the other Venom(Tom Hardy), who never interacted with Spider Man. He was evil but more anti heroic than this one, who was more evil and scarier.
Favorite movie of my 7 year old world.
Now that I'm older, I can really tear apart how a whole crowd of people stood so close to two terribly dangerous villains and watched. Also, instead of swinging MJ to that crowd of presumably safe people or getting her out, he chose to put her back into the construction zone. Also, why at 8:24 did he not just use his webs right away. Jeez.
But I still love this movie. Go Toby Maguire for best Spiderman!
Probably they realized MJ was never the target, and the only one of those two who actually cared was Venom. Sandman only wanted to defeat Spiderman so he doesn't stop him from taking the money. What does bug me here, however, is that Peter could have web-pull that sharp stick all the time, and Harry wouldn't have had to die, yet he still let his friend get impaled like that. Not to mention Harry didn't really have to drop under the blades. Like he could have just bull-butted Venom. It is what it is though.
If Spider man wore the Symbiote suit during this fight, Sandman and Venom wouldn’t have stood a chance. (Hypothetically if there were two venoms.)

It's kinda sad to know that she would've had a better role in this movie if it wasn't for someone meddling with Sam Reimi's script, she was originally going to convince Harry to help Peter save Gwen Stacy(Eddie would have kidnapped her, thinking Peter loved her)

In retrospect Spider-Man 3 wasn't that bad. The plot was a bit convoluted, but compared to the later movies I think it's a good Spider-Man movie. This final fight scene is still way better than the ending fights of both Amazing Spider-Man films.

Something we never really talk about is how powerful this venom really is. Man was able to live without a host and was about to become a pain to spiderman. Marvel has never made a venom that could live without his host and be able to perform high level tasks like this.
But in exchange, the new venom has a higher physical strength even though he can't live without a host

When you make a live action version of something animated, of course, the human characters look different by being real people instead of moving drawings along with different actors playing them, and they’re supposed to be the live action counterparts of their animated versions, but for Spider Man’s case, only Peter’s costume looks the same as the one from the comics and cartoons because it’s just a costume with a mask. I also think that Spider Man and Scooby Doo are the cartoons that almost everyone knows about the live action versions they got too.
Remember who is the strongest spider man. He did not need fancy gadgets, in order to destroy the enemy, he had enough intelligence.
Tobey Maguire is the strongest Spiderman ever, fighting supervillains just on raw power and strength, all he has is two hands and two legs and he damn well know how to use it and then there is Tom Holland's Spiderman who is using all kind of high tech gadgets and suits, it's like they totally forget what made him Spiderman at first place. You just don't see hand to hand combat in MCU's Spiderman movies.

The symbolism in harries death is amazing. Green goblin died by his own glider, trying to harm and kill Peter. Harry died by his own glider trying to save and protect Peter. Polar opposites yet also the same.

One of the best things about Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is the fact that Spider-Man (2002) felt so much closer to a 90s film with dated visuals and scenes that represent other 90s film but still has a few modern aspects with amazing CGI, costume designs, and is super faithful to the source material, and then, the sequels from 2004 and 2007 fit in with other modern superhero films from the 2000s and are much darker. It's almost like the Harry Potter franchise, but based on a Marvel comic book. I'm mostly (and quite possibly maybe even completely) a DC fan, but as far as Marvel goes, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is the best of Marvel's work!

The way Harry/Goblin sacrificed his life to save Peter/Spider-Man was truly honorable and a deed a good friend would doo. Hats off to Harry/Goblin! I couldn't get over the shock that he died! Rest in peace, Harry/Goblin, you'll always be remembered as a hero😢😢😭😭
