I was born and raised in Tulsa. In high school my family moved to Stillwater . As a multiracial/multi ethnic teenager it was a huge culture shock for me. Some of the folks there were not welcoming and were racist a holes. I live in OKC in the PC North area (for the last 12 years) and I love it! The vibe is very middle class family oriented. I would never live in Tulsa again bc like you said the vibe in OKC is better. I’ve thought about moving to Norman possibly in the future after my kids graduate high school. Great list! 👍🏽

Good list except for Moore. Bartlesville, Purcell, Mustang, Chickasha, Bixby, Catooaa, Sapulpa, Shawnee, Durant - I would live in before Moore. Moore has more tornadoes that any other city in the state based on the size.

One town that I didn't see on the list was Bartlesville. Which is 47 miles north of Tulsa .

Great video Marcie! It’s cool to see what you think. As for me, I’m so glad we moved to OKC. It really suits me more than Norman I feel!

Why you never comment about Lawton ? Lawton is not the best option but very note worthy in this state. Military presence. Nice cost of living and close to Dallas and OKC. There is Elgin and Wichita Falls Texas within 20 min. I feel like Lawton being the third biggest city in Oklahoma, it should be mentioned and we show what’s the ups and down for choosing Lawton over the other two cities.

You should try to get out of central oklahoma before you make another video. Norman sucks. I had to drive through it yesterday and the only thing good about it is seeing it in my rear view mirror. You sound like a typical ou , i put that in lower case for a reason, fan. By typical ou fan i mean arrogant snobby and out of touch with reality
