Fudge, I am so ashamed as a Cassie of 9+ years. I've had the "Hey, don't bring me down" part stuck in my head for a few days and only just today realized where I got it from. So now I'm here. I haven't heard this song in so long. Like, it has been a really, REALLY long time. Damn, this used to basically be my fucking anthem. I always felt so badass when I listened to this and imagined a cool music video while dancing in my chair at the computer while I listened to this. XD
Considering this song was on their 4th album (2008) and there were several songs on that album that I'd argue have a similar sound/vibe, I'd say DB5K were probably headed into that direction style-wise. I feel like the unreleased 5th OT5 album might've had more songs like this one. But since the split happened and they went on a hiatus for such a ling time, they went into another music direction when they were back.

Among all of DBKS songs, this is rarely . But it is a good song.
