no need to do it this way. I compared sand versus tap water and tap water works better. Take you cuttings and let them sit in a cool dry place for 2 weeks so they can scab up. Put them in an inch or two of water, in a clear container. Just change out the water once a week. Put cuttings on a windowsill. This is the easiest way, and I've done it for 10 years.
In 2008, I got a little sprout in Syria, unfortunately they didn't know its name, but it was inside the apartment and it's beautiful. I found out his name after 14 years, thanks. It bloomed for me once indoors and it is quite stunted because it froze once, but it is alive and now I trust that I can give it new life. I am thankful.
Keep the sand or sandy soil just damp, these plants do not like to be over watered...they get lots of moisture from the surounding air...if they are in a humid area thats best, if not just keep the soil slightly moist, or just mist the leaves
the sand is just slightly damp, these plants do not like to be kept wet...they get moisture from the air, so misting the leaves is also good for them....they like light soils that have some sand in them.
This isnot the queen of the night, many confuse it, the queen of the night is the Selenicereus grandiflorus, it has thorns in the branches, The one you have is epiphyllum, they spring even during the day, the grandiflorus only one night in the year

Do you ever prune yours? Mine does well producing blooms but it has some long branches, kind of getting out of control. Thanks for your advice.

Belíssima flor. Vou dormir mais tarde quando está por abri-las, para não perder o espetáculo. Ótima dica de multiplicação.
I just got a clipping of one and put in vase of water it’s starting to root so will put in potting soil soon.
Good luck!🌹
I just stick them in sandy dirt

Lovely! But too many questions: did you place cuttings in sand? Did you water during the 30 days??

This plant doesn't need a lot of water, I spray it once every 15 days

I use moist sand, if left in a cool place, the sand will stay moist for a long time
植えかえは、4月では無いのですか?
