Thank you.PTA is an acronym for personal travel allowance. It’s an application to any commercial bank in Nigeria to receive a maximum sum of 4000 USD at CBN rate when you’re traveling abroad. However, you must have a return ticket to be eligible.

Did you need a transit visa going through Amsterdam? What flight did you enter?
I used klm and didn’t require a transit visa.

You need a return ticket to apply for PTA. I used Stanbic.

I am a Nigerian living in united Arab Emirates for over yrs now but I want to visit Canada from UAE but my credit card (ATM first bank of Nigeria) expired some weeks ago, Meanwhile it was my bank account in Nigeria that I want to use and generate statement of account via online and submit it for the visa. But I still have money in my UAE salary account that can foot my trip to and fro to Canada if the visa been approved, so my question is this.... At the point of entry (airport) at Canada will they request for my credit card (ATM)?. Mine already expired..thanks...

@@busolaoladeindeok thanks, please I have another question to ask you, I am a Nigerian living in Dubai for yrs now but I want to visit Canada but my CREDIT CARD ( ATM) just expired some weeks ago, and it was bank account that was linked to the ATM that expired that I want to generate my bank statement of account via online because I have full access to the account, meanwhile I also have enough money in my salary account in duabi that can foot my trip to and fro to Canada if the visa been approved, So my question is this.....do the immigration officers or any other security operatives request for the CREDIT CARD THAT LINKS TO YOUR BANK STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT at the point of entry ( airport) at Canada?..

I also have enough money here in Dubai that can foot my trip to and fro to Canada if the visa been approved. so my QUESTION is this....at the point of entry in (AIRPORT) Canada, will they request to see my CREDIT CARD (ATM) that is linked to the bank statement that I submitted earlier?.....The ATM linked to the bank statement already expired but I have enough money in my salary account (Dubai) that can foot my bills at Canada......thanks for taking your time pls....
