What a fantastic evolving system. Thanks for sharing your journey. Watching your vids from Australia and interested to know what temp is 'hot for Scotland'? Beautiful blue sky. I'd love to come and WOOF with you guys one day.

Thank you! Mid twenties we all start feeling the heat, verging on 30 would be very hot for us! Although, after living in Oz for a while, I miss the heat!

One way to reduce the fly pressure in the pasture is to move a posse of the chickens in a moveable chick shaw 3 days after the cows leave and they go right to the cow patties and eat the larvae and spread the manure.. win win.... improves pasture, less flies, less bought feed for the chickens, less moving of chicken manure...

The fence system looks great. Is the lower wire not live? It didn't look as if you are strimming or scything the grass around the base of the fence. I also wondered if Rosa was moving the wire away from the shrub but maybe not. You don't have issues with the fence shorting? Inspirational and entertaining as always, thank you.

Hi there! We often do cut the grass below the bottom line as it is electrified. In this instance we just trod the grass down which we felt was enough but now, a month later, we'll most likely have to scythe/strim etc before putting up the fence as the growth is a lot more. We also carry a pruning saw to cut back branches that are touching the lines or at least hanging close that might temp browsing which will then pull the branch onto the fence. It's different every grazing cell, every month really. Thanks so much for the support!

@@TapoNothFarm Thank you for the reply. I visited The Inkpot farm in Lincolnshire at the weekend and saw their cell grazing system. Animals are missing from my site, for some good reasons, but I'm always interested in seeing how folks like yourself integrate cell grazing with other systems. Great videos!
