    Does that boiler condensate line not need a trap in it as it goes into the main soil stack ? just thinking of smells coming back to the boiler. BTW I'm no expert 😂. Great video lads 👍

    Somewhere I missed the instillation of the skylights.

      We didn’t show it because we had installed them on the loft conversion series of the same house several weeks before. You may want to go back and have a look. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

    That little loft space would have been perfect for some in line fans, rather than noisy wall mount fans.

    Surely the rain water is going to enter those roof tile vents

      Kind of thinking the same thing (unless its channeled in some way)

      they are channeled, there’s two little grills at the bottom edge underneath that let the rain out back onto the roof. The pipe connection is higher than the grill, so water doesn’t drop through.

      You can 'just' see the weep holes at 11:59

      Also, spotted the 'Do not use for boiler flues' stamped on it :(

      @stevecraft00 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ratkinson-uk of course you can't use it for boiler flues. But if that weren't stamped there, some moron would try.

    So you don't vent the plumbing through the roof? And that passes inspection?

      It’s a durgo valve, not a traditional soil vent. It’s only open when active.

    I might have missed it but where is the waste going for the toilet or is it a saniflow?

      Friday was just a random one I fancied doing for a specific task. I wouldn’t get too excited though 😂

    Please more time lapse / showing how it's done. I calculated around 75-80% explanation (just look at the reams of transcript) which is too much for me. Seeing things being created is wonderful; people in the trades / experts might enjoy the technical chat but a little more balance please for us lay people. Ta.

      Nah the descriptions is what makes this channel so good. You don’t learn as much from a Timelapse.
