What many people will fail to realize that all those 54 chains is just for a single Hadith. How many Hadits we got in Sahih al Bukhari? This is how strongly the Hadiths are preserved and Qur'an is preserved in a more prestine manner. Yet still, some people won't believe. May Allah give us all hidaya. Ameen.

Daniel, I would like to address four key points based on your concerns:
    1. People of that time didn't write much and didn't have pocketbooks to record everything they heard. They relied on memorization and oral transmission. Even across the world, many cultures had oral traditions and preserved much of their history through them. So your point about the words not being recorded until way later is addressed. Memorization was strong at that time as people had a greater need for it in their daily business, government, and religious matters to communicate important information and records.
    2. Many of the companions weren't from the same locale, and some converted to Islam after others, so the point your father made, which is a good argument at first, about them all being in one sitting and hearing the same thing at the same time is also addressed. They simply weren't all in the same place at the same time when the Prophet (PBUH) made a statement or a prophecy.
    3. This brings us to the third point and which proves the reliability of Authentic Hadiths, that even when different companions and at different times and locations heard something from the Prophet (who made the same statements multiple times), they ALL report the exact same words. THAT is what differentiates Authentic Hadiths from others.
The fact that they have multiple chains of narrations after them is not the initial value of reliability but is like the icing on the cake to VALIDATE their reliability, because one, they are recorded, and two they have proven to be immune to "Chinese Whispers' which is when you know that a statement religious or not, has been preserved (i.e It remains intact even when passed through multiple individuals and throughout periods of time).
    4. Finally, most information from the Books of Men (the Biographies) comes from two primary sources (among others but these are the primary ones):
    a. the historical writings of scholars and poets and reports about the time period, the economy, poems, reports of events, battles, etc. and which contain mentions of these men and describes their character, and the events surrounding them.
    b. Narrations about these 'Men' from other reporters, and these narrations and their reporters themselves also follow the same rigorous checking of criteria such as valid sources, their morals, intelligence, sound reporting abilities, good memory, etc.

I mean he's definitely wrong. He leaves Christianity and love for Prophet Jesus, to replace it with love for Prophet Muhammad? He says: If I lose you, I'm afraid I would lose who, who I gave my love to. That's the reason I stay around, even though I fell way in too deep, I can't think about giving it up.
....And that's what the majority of sunni Muslims today say too. But whyyy did the Lord your God send the Prophet Muhammad? Is it not precisely because people started loving on a Prophet instead of loving God? Does the Quran say even ONCE to love Prophet Muhammad? No.
Does your God tell you to constantly talk about your BELOVED Prophet and to adore him with much adoration? Not once! Does it say to love YOUR LORD? Yes! And it says he will love you back. Plenty of times! So where is the logic?

    • @yomomma9687
      @yomomma9687 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

What? So you tried, but you can't think about giving it up? Cos losing the love for the Prophet, you never knew love could feel like a heart attack...
You tried it, but it's ending you and you never cried so much, cos you never knew love would hurt this much. The worst pain that you ever had.
Haha dude... what about love for the Lord your God. Will that not replace it for you? NO? AND WHYYYYYYY NOT? The Prophets are dead, the Lord is alive and is here with you, closer to you than anyone. Where is your love for him?

Why have only love for humans and only give it up at the chance of a heart attack? It's not the Prophets that will save you on the day of judgment. Not Jesus, not Muhammad, nor any human.
Did WORD not reach you that you'll have no helper and no protector on the day of judgment except for the Lord your God? So where did the love for your beloved Prophet lead you except away from your Lord?

I hope Daniel sees this. The people mentioned in the chains were the teachers of hadith everyone of them, their students narrated from them and their students narrated from them. Also these people had written copy too, a person was not considered very reliable if he did had written down his narrations. But these written copy did not survive because famous people wrote their own books, and not every book could survive.

QURAN says, Guidance comes ONLY from God...
....and not from some Persian students narrating to each other. What kind of religion is this?
It's not about what men say in religion. It's what the Lord your God says. And if you can't complete your faith except by complementing God's Word with the Word of Men, what does that say about your faith?
      Haha!

    • @yomomma9687
      @yomomma9687 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

The Quran totally stands against this. Not only does it say guidance is only from God, but it says that they took their monks and scholars as lords in religion, and certainly they're off the straight path. Haha!
And it says, it's not allowed for you to take ANY religious legislation from ANY men, because ONLY YOUR GOD can forbid and allow you things in religion.
Lol. Good luck to you then dude. Carry on with this type of faith that the Quran is against. pfftt!

I remember when i was in madrasah ( Islamic junior school) , i was 13th years old that time, i can memorize more than 300 hadist ( from 2 text book ) in just 2 weeks before exam ,. the night before exam i can completly memorize word by word all of them (the arabic and its translation). the exam is go like this : the the teacher will ask random problem, and we write every hadist that connected to it. for every hadist must contain main messege hadist , and the chain name of its narrator ( from sahabah, thabi`in, and thabi`ah) and where is in the book of imam its written. And im not even arab, and arab is not my country language, Im indonesian.
unffortunately , when enter senior school i dont continue to islamic school,.and i go to collage in engineering,. and i did many sin ,. so my memory of hadist is lost ., thinking back i was can memorize such hadist its kind amazing to me now.
So when its said the our Ulama specially Imams in the past ,. have abilty to memorize tens of thousands or hundreds of thousand of hadist (in every version of narration, wheater its weak, good enough, strong, or fake), i believe them.

I watched this movie of how natives American used to share their history through oral traditions. The ones who share the traditions will say something like "I got this story from my father (names) who get it from his father (names) who get it from his father (names) who witness this first hand, and this was what said word for word...", He shares the story during a certain gathering of his people, attended by both young and old. Some people who were there have heard the narration by his father previously and so if he change it, they would know when they heard it again, especially if they also keep the oral tradition and tell it to other people (continuing the narration from that guy's father or the ones before him).
One thing we need to understand is these people who was the first from all the chains, they keep the hadith from memory, and they were those who memorized Qur'an. As much as if it is possible for 10 person to remember the words for words, for them to narrates to others and they also remember it words for words as the chain goes down, that is pretty impressive. Especially when we understood how spoken/heard informations do usually get changes as more people hear it (if their memories aren't great). The only way to doubt the narrators and the narrations would be if you're assuming that some of the people who collect and wrote the narrations are liars who copies other people's words and create an imaginary chains of narrations. In that case, you need to go through each hadith collectors and learn who they are and what they do, to understand their motives in fabricating hadith.
While I haven't yet done the research myself, Alhamdulillah I realized that "overly skepticism" on the matter of oral traditions is a result of not able to grasp the picture of how memories works especially in this 21st century where we rely mostly on written records. If I could imagine that more than 500 people could all memorized all 10 Taylor Swift's albums by heart, words for words, and the companions of the Prophet could memorized the whole Qur'an by heart in it's original language (which we could see the result from today's preservation of Qur'an through memorization), so why would I now be skeptical over the ability to memorize other things which are of more importance than some song lyrics. For as long as those people were able to all sing back the same Taylor Swift's lyrics, and Al-Qur'an are recited in the same ways (by different people), and hadith were recorded with multiples sources with strong chains (by different people), I'd say to still doubt it has more to do with the inability to understand how human memorization, transmission, and recording informations works. May Allah guides us, increase us in knowledge and understanding, and may Allah makes it easy for us to follow His guidance.

The key-point to address this all is very easy, know first who are those people that narrated it, know that in that time Oral tradition was something not on the level of nowadays, in the past that was considered more reliable than writing it down. Then things will fall in place. The issue we have here most is assuming ´´if it is not written down then it is not accurate´´. Did you know that Japan in the past centuries ago considerd memorization more reliable than written something down? Islamic history needs to be studied and the people mentioned need to be studied then you will understand how it is impossible for any error to have occurred.

I love your videos, we know you very love your dad, 🥰 because we do too ❤
as reminder especially for myself, not everyone need a push, sometimes they need pull or space to reflect.
    Inshaa Allah one day
as for hadith in my opinion: if someone fabricate the hadith with mentioning trustworthy person, then we can check if that 'trustworthy person' really said that or not (by his book for example, or their family, biography)
because it is impossible to do that unless you are publisher of a book that edit certain words in a book before producing it and burn all published book before
    👍
we can know in Qur'an case, if a word was mistype, the publisher will burn and stop the produce and people will notice anyway.

The ones in the middle (blue colored) are the ones that told they heard it from the (light blue) ones from up to bottom.

it's not about saying the same thing, it's about saying it word by word and letter by letter which makes it almost impossible to happen with multiple chains that are unrelated to each other, unless he saying or the event really happened and all those different unrelated head of chains witnessed it

It is easy to under stand if you think of how it happened like this if there were 5 companions sitting around the prophet peace be upon him and all 5 heard him say something then each one of the 5 go away Tell their friends and family the exact words they heard then each of the friends and family tell their own friends and family the exact words they heard from their friends and family chain after chain then when you compare the words of the friends and family on the bottom list to the top of the list and you find it to be the same exact words then there is no room for mistakes.
You actually need to know what we call the science of hadith to know exactly how the exact words of the prophet peace be upon him reached us today. For example if you read how the sahih bukhari was compiled in one book and what it took to do that you would understand the whole thing.

Salam, i just want to add a very important point that is missed many times when we talk about Hadith. What’s difficult to memorize in Hadith is not the saying of the prophet salla allaho alibi o Salam) it’s to memorize the right chains and also to memorize week chains. Because there are not week chains than strong chanins. So what does this really mean? A good narrater is know in “alim a rijal” to not do misstakes in the chains.
So if one thinks deeply in this, that means a narriter will memorize 100 touaen of names and the right order.
So it’s the chains that makes it “amazing” how the people who memorized the Hadith.
What is also important to understand, is if you have 10 narriter and they all memorize all the same chains. Just wanted to add that o allaho 3alam. Love ur videos. Keep up the e good work.

the chain of narrators or isnad, will usually go from bottom to the top. the topmost is the 'direct' listener from the mouth of Rasulullah s.a.w. . The meaning of 20 narration chains is not 20 narrators to the bottom, but a single line of narrators who have heard i.e from Abu Hurairah r.a. So meaning the second from the top will have his/her own chains of narrators. Each of these narrators from top to bottom has a criteria / checklist of whether / how they are to be trusted. And bottommost is usually an author of book of hadith i.e Bukhari, Muslim, Ibnu Majah etc

Arabs were great history writers of that time. During the time of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) his companions used to make great effort to learn Hadith by heart and protect it and pass it on to next generations . The companions of the Prophet might have heard it in one sitting but further generations heard it from different narrators.

Brother, if you cannot imagine what the sheikh said by only his words, I suggest you take a paper and draw how it should look like.
For example, under Abu Hurairah got 20 chains, you draw 20 lines. Next Jabir RA you draw 11 lines.
You see the circle with arabic number in it? That's how much chains under each narrator. You draw all lines under those 10 narrators. By doing this, I hope you can understand how intricate and complex the research of hadith is, and the term "science of hadith" is not an simple metter. Wallahualam
