Yes she mentioned this book several times in interviews, and today I found out she was a good friend of Liberace and he had also read the book seems it made a very positive impact on them both. I have ordered a copy of it to read, it's been nagging away at me for about 6 months since I first heard Phyllis Diller mention it !

Indeed the power of believing is strong and there is one who claims it and backs you up.
You think a thought and you set your mind on it and it comes true.
We know that just because you think it, it simple does not change things. A thought must be heard and one must have faith that it will come to pass.
But faith, faith in what? The answer is in the one who hears your thoughts and grants them and encourages your faith.
If you want to have strong faith and give gratitude to the force of good. Then you must get to know the force of good. It has a name that is over 2000 years old and a name within His name that echoes from before the beginning of time.
This force of good that hears you and grants every good thing according to His will is Jesus Christ.
For Jesus Christ taught to believe and it will be done, believe in Him and ask him what you want and if it is good He will grant it.
Some gifts He will grant overtime or a period of time, so that you may be suitable and prepared to handle such a gift and be fruitful.
For example of what I mean by this. An inexperienced man in finance wins the lottery, he buys everything his heart desires and ends up empty in the soul, he feels depressed and only left wanting more, in most cases, he becomes bankrupt in debt, in the end, he ends up in a worst state than that of what he started.
But this is what Jesus Christ does, he heard your prayer and if it is good and it his purpose for your life, He grants it to you. So he either prepared you beforehand, before you asked him or he begins to prepare you at that moment.
Lets say it is financially again, this time He starts to teach you to learn to live with little so that you may begin to learn how to budget your money efficiently and he lets you go through financial problems so that you may learn what to expect in the future in greater value.
So then eventually he starts opening doors for you, doors that bring higher levels of knowledge and finance and faith. He builds discipline in you and helps you be different in the world.
Jesus helps you not be disolucioned like the world in worthless things were your money goes down the drain on sparkly worthless things of the world that are of no use to you or your progress.
Eventually you will reach a point where you have developed great management of your money, you have developed great faith and the most important part, incredibly charitable just like Jesus Christ was charitable with you.
Not only that, you will not be like the rest of the world, rich yet poor, having plenty yet feeling empty. With Jesus Christ you will grow in all areas and you will live a much richer life inside and out.
But be prepared to abide in Jesus Christ in your walk, for the forces of evil mainly the devil will wish to destroy you and kill your good desires and dreams.
Jesus Christ says this: "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come so that you may have life and have it abundantly"
Jesus Christ: "I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens, I will come in yo you and dine with you and also my father and we will be with you."
"I will be with you, even until the end of the world."

The fulfillment of your desire is not subject to anyone else's review; that they may grant it, or not grant it, and may choose the timing of its fulfillment. According to your *faith* it is done unto you -- that is all. There is no arbiter. The interpretation of scripture that asserts a historical Jesus as the one and only son of God is a pedestrian understanding, albeit well-intentioned in this case, I have no doubt. I will say "be blessed", for to say "God bless you" would be to imply that He has any choice in the matter ;)
