- Like yourself a good starlapse? Sucker for a cool timelapse? Well, you are gonna enjoy this one! Hannah here, back from an eventful road trip in which we were tasked with shooting the perfect starlapse. We love shooting a good timelapse and with Insta360 ONE R there is a tonne of ways to mount and shoot these. Hopefully, you'll find some useful ideas in here for your next road trip, and look out for the settings we used for different shots in the top right corner of the screen. But of course, the big question is... were we successful in our mission? Did we capture those beautiful star trails and bring home the coveted starlapse shot? Only one way to find out!

Great cinematic footage leading up to the subject 'perfect star timelapse' however, my expectations were set higher than an approximate 10 seconds of star trails in a 9 minute plus video.
Road trip was great to see and the various location sceneries were beautiful!

How do you keep the red ligbt from the camera not ending up in the starlapse? I constantly get a red light blur in and ruin the lapse. Suggest update shuts off all lights on camera in starlapse mode
When you were coming out of that office in the beginning, the Insta360 logo light was flickering, how to fix that?

Nice road trip video, but the starlapse was pretty disappointing. Far from "perfect"
@CJ Jacobs they put its a perfect starlapse and it isn't. Look on my channel, I've uploaded a couple after experimenting in manual mode. They're not perfect, but a nice start. I've taken some awesome milky-way stills with the 1 inch mod. Search my name in the official one r community Facebook group.
