So glad i read the comments first. I'M not fond of Nora Roberts books to much unnecessary sex and romance and unnecessary swearing. I only read for 15 minutes and 9:47 hate her mother. I love J D Rudd and I've read everyone she has written more than once.
4:08:27 - Spoiler - not gunna lie, I'm kind of disappointed that everything about her escape and survival when she was 16 was skipped over - now she's 27? I mean, everything till that point had been described in great detail... Then it skips 10 years?! Kinda bummed about that. 4:18:22 - dang but I love the police chief's mom! She makes me laugh! Lol
3:38:48 Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross for the sins of mankind. He died to save you because he loves you. Using his name as a cuss word is evil.

I fast forward* to speed past the unnecessary sex scenes* *to fast forward, press anywhere on the cover photo and you can hear it speed up, and when next chapter starts.
If a listener has the right to say how good he/she found the book, the same courtesy should be extended to those that don't like the book. I am not even going to listen as Roberts's books are all similar: Intriguing first few chapters and the rest filled with unmotivated sex, swearing and staccato speaking style. And then the boredom sets in.
Spoiler....Am i the only one that can't stand the main character? I had to stop listening,and its boring as hell. How do you skip that many years in the story??
Well it's all fabulous trash to take ones mind off the world. I enjoy the variations of themes even with some psychological threads identifiable. Am going through as many as possible. Great distraction!!
