Dose it even need to be said that this is a masterpiece? The progression of dialogue, the match cuts, the totally hype nature of way you present the character, there are just so many great moments. The way Alfreds concern for what Bruce will become and Bruce’s self destructive nature at 1:15 neatly transitions in to section on the Batman embodying fear which then transitions just a neatly in to the “do you know who I am” section at 1: 46 which culminates with Bruce Smashing through a window to parallel the bat that inspired him in his classic origin. And then the “We are very much alike” / “Looking into the abyss” section at 2:40 touching on how Bruce has more in common with the criminals he fights than he would like, But ending with a single line that demonstrates the difference between him and the other mad men who had “one bad day”. That when they looked To there own abyss, “you blinked”. This whole four minutes is a superbly constructive love letter to the character and stands with the best that fandom has to offer. Simply immaculate, bravo.
Can we appreciate how the lyric is “no I don’t have a gun” and Batman does all this without guns. Also you should be proud man not only do you have good taste but you compiled it so well.
